Life is a KALEIDOSCOPE ..!!

Vaishnavi…was busy with her window shopping in one of the famous Mall in Singapore.. She lives in Johor and she had a small trip to Singapore with her hubby and kid…
While she was anxiously searching for a good handbag..she saw a girl of her age..dressed in yellow salwar some distance apart on the other side of the shop….
She stared at her for sometime…and was really scandazlised for few seconds… Was it Shruthi..??.. She asked her self.. to confirm.. she went somewhat closer.. Yesss..She elated…. She grabbed her daughter and walked fast towards Shruthi…..
She called Shruthi…..!! Shruthi turned her side.. She too had a Big surprise Heyyyyy !!! Vaishuuu My god I cant belive this.. She came closer and just hugged her with a big smile ….


Shruthi and Vaishu were good friends in school….. Vaishu was a outstanding student in she was the school topper in studies and all extra curricular activites like paper presentations ,group discussions…She was the oraganiser of many events to in the college fete..She was a highly talented girl admired by even teachers…
But Shurthi was not up to Vaishu. She was an average student .. She didn’t participate in any extra curricular activites… But she managed to pass in all subjects….


Coming back to Singapore… Both the friends just forgot the world around them….They moved to a café and started chatting…

Shruthi asked… How are you dear. ???What are you doing now? Where are you.?? Is this your kid..cho chweet yaa…….. we just lost contact with each other after school..

Vaishu continued talking to shruthi with Enthusiastic smile…

I came to Johor after marriage.. Im taking care of my baby and hubby Life is very good …I want to go for job .. but I couldn’t find the right time… Im waiting for that ….

Shruthi said.. you are lucky dear.. to be at home..and to be with your baby all day…
Im working as Software Engg in a firm.. I get a fatty check.. but what to do.. I always miss my small baby and hubby.. no time for relaxing also.. Its very difficult for me to balance between work and home.. I m finding the right time to quit the job….

Shruthi.. grated more about her family and vaishu ‘s life asa home maker.. she always wanted to be a homemaker…. Her baby crying vigorously before she leaves for work just came in mind and filled her eyes a bit… She thought Vaishu is so lucky to be with her kid and take care of her husband’s needs….

Meantime Vaishu was thinking ….Shruthi was a very average student in school… didn’t have good communicaton skills also.. but she is now a S/W enginner..But me simple looking after the chores in home..wasting all my talents… I should put an end to this…

Shruthi gave her home address to Vaishu invited her for dinner and they departed….That evening she went to Shruthi’s house along with her hubby and kid…. Seeing the posh and lavishing home.. she was stunned…She thought Shruthi was really gifted to be like this…. Since both of the couples are working they live much sophisticated life that too in a costly city like Singapore… She thought to herself..

But Shruthi… envied Vaishuu…. seeing the love exsisting in their cute family…It seemed to be like a bundle of roses sitting in front of her…. Being all time with the maid..her baby sometimes hesitated to come and be with her.. her eyes watered a bit… After dinner they left…..


After Couple of Days in Johor ….

Vaishu in her house was seriously searching something in her cupboard…..Atlast she found…she took it out with a smile.. Yess… It was her RESUME….
She started uploading it in one of the Popular recruiting firms…..


In the mean time in Singapore..Shruthi was typing her resignation letter in her Laptop with very clear mind and eyes….

Infact Life is a KALEIDOSCOPE is it not......??

Really..it is a simple observation potrayed clearly.In Telugu there is a saying "Poruginti Pulla Koora Kooda Ruche" or in English there is"Grass is greener on other side" - well both the sayings say what happens in this story.

What one may enjoy the other may not and we do get inspired and thankfully not jealous of a friend or someone who does well then it is fine. Life is grey , never black or white but there are many colurs to suit what you think of life ahead and its twists and turns

You won't believe I was also in the state of Vaishu and after 12yrs of being a home maker, now Iam back as a working women and no regrets. Maybe I have to say my MIL is the backbone because she takes after the home and family hence I am free to work..
