For which one you spend more now ?

For us, it is always grocery expenses that tops the list !

As for home, I do agree when you are moving or recently moved into our own home, we do tend to buy everything ..right from furniture, household appliances, decorations etc. The same thing happened, when we moved into our home. Moreover, atleast for a year, we keep buying something or the other for use inside home, lawn etc.

For home decoration, I like to accesorize in a simple style, nothing too elaborate.

That said, medical expenses happen whenever needed.

Electronics, vdo games...we buy occassionally, as for books since most of the news, magazines we read online. For children, mostly get books from library unless it is from Book fair or some collection/series that they would like to read often and preserve.

Clothes, shoes & accessories, we need to buy once in 3months or so. As for cosmetics, I do buy them, but not very often. :)

2. Dine-out
3. Travel , say some short trips or sight seing in local
4. Purchasing home needs either decorative or used for day-to-day-life
5. Electronics

And Above ALL "EMI"

Groceries but ofcourse necessary then i spend too much on accessories and clothes. Everytime i feel now thats enough no more only to end up buying more clothes and accessories. I love them I also end up buying a lot of them for my daughter too.
Well for home , when i find some ethnic piece i pick it up.
Medical as and when needed and I also spend a lot on plants. Trying to maintain a garden with some fancy flowers. Some dont last long but yet I do get them for getting the colour to my lawn.
I also have a shoe fetish and splurge on that. I guess im the spend thrift here.

That is a neat analysis of income you have put up...........
For me from the list that you have mentioned more then 50% of the expenses are looked after by the company so at present I could do some saving...........but once my kid starts going to UNI then my real expenses will start so I am doing my savings for my kids education.
