Dear Anupama,

I can understand what your hubby went through.

Being from Maharashtra where women generally do not worship Kumar. This is because he is the Lord of war. Because of our biological functions, he is said to have advised ladies to worship his parents & send their men folk to worship him.

After marriage, I was taken to Ghati Subramanya temple near Bangalore. imagine my plight. Well, left everything in the hands of divinity & went in.

Hubby came over to Mumbai for hols. Took him to Shirdi, Tryambakeshwar & Nasik. Near Nasik there is a place called Muktidham. Things went well when we went for the pooja & Parikrama. We came to this partition where a sign requested ladies not to enter. Hubby went & was surprised to find an idol of Kumar. His turn to be shocked.

Well, welcome to diversity of Hinduism.

Regards,

Corallux

Hi,

That was really funny… poor guy… What will he do… When I first went to Delhi, on the Deevali day, when they said they will do pooja only in the evening I was stunned… only later I came to know that there is a whole difference of one yuga….

Great….
