Tiffin Carriers From Thane to V.T

Hi ,
Don't mistake me but this maybe totally unrelated to the topic.Recently people are warned about using too much plastic in household.I think if its cheap plastic then with combination of hot food it may not be a good thing for health.Even for babies now doctors are advising either using glass/Stainless steel bottle.So beware of using plastic tiffon boxes and Stainless steel is best.

yup, our beloved mumbai dabbawallahs are world famous...they, inspite of being mostly illiterate, have achieved what in management parlance is a six sigma level of perfection....its amazing how they do it...so much of mind boggling logistics...
add to that dodging mumbai's chaotic traffic... a big and a to them...

never knew till now that they even had a 2 yr training period....they can give mgmt lessons to any of those corporate biggies !!

Just saw this comment.. thank you friend.. I too saw the video.. its quite incredible how they waeve through traffic and also how they stack all the tiffin carriers together yet dont loose track .. a lesson to be learnt!

Hello all,
Dabbawallahs made a huge splash a few years back when they were the only ones from India to be invited to Prince Charles's wedding with Camilla Parker.
I'm not quite sure, but I remember reading that America gave them a Six Sigma rating and also Harvard Business School has a course on this management model.
