Mithila,
Before replying to your fb..first.give us your blessings....Very nice picture, but I need a 'bhooda kannaadi' to see it..post a bigger version....waiting....Hope to see another snippet of that celebration...

I go by your advice of letting her know the pros and cons....
Sure father is a father ...but my hubby is not a practical person....
Regarding the joke...nice one, then in that case why can't the boy get into the house through the front door????
this also reminds of an ad for a car, where the girl runs away with the boy and sees the father in the checkpost and poor father he is facinated by the car forgot to see who is there...

Nandhu,
Wait and see....you know tomorrow never comes..sure let you know when it happens...

Uma,
As she is open I can talk to her...sure that will be our duty to her in this regard...

Ars,
There is no restricition in talking to boys or anything like that...this 'feeling' is what I am concerned about now...thanks for complimenting me on my parental way..but do they think like that...

Usha,
Till they are friends no problem, when this question arrives..that's the problem...right?
We should expect all these in this soil...and should know how to overcome it...

Sharadha,
I go by your advice ...friendly mother....
Till now to my knowledge she has none, but talks about her friends...your advice is helpful in this regard...

My dear dear sriniketan,
Our blessings and good wishes to you and your family
Coming to the photo,I have to make a proclamation here without an iota of shame that my computer knowledge is nil,my dear.I can type in word, copy paste it in the web page. But I have not been able to scan, copy and paste in in inus ladies.I just dont know how to do it.For this reason alone Ihave not been able to scan and send my stories --Tamil--to indus ladies.Poor sundari, she tried her very best to tell me step by step, but no I have a strong feeling that God scooped out intelligence to fill the brains of his creations and when my turn came his bowl of intelligence was empty, there was only kaliman nearby and he filled my brain with that ,without batting an eyelid.
Anyhow, for your part tell me how to send the scanned big copy to indus and earn a big thank you.
The story I wrote was in lighter vein. From your mail I can see that your daughter treats you as a friend in whom she can confide. That is great.Continue to be her friend, she will make the right decision and will not take that decision even, if it is having a boyfriend ,without telling you.

All the best.
love

Dear Bhargavi,
I suggest that you have a positive and open outlook to this. As your girl treats you as her friend half the battle is won,she is comfortable to discuss this with you, Great!!!!Iam still way behind but will get there one day as both my daughters will come to that age. They say that when they talk about it then they will be hesitant to take a step in atht direction, so you wait and watch!!!!

Mithila,
Come on, I also share the same kaliman with you....I can give you one suggestion...can't you go to the 'computer place' and ask them to do that..(I don't know the procedures) but a small came over now...

Thanks for the encouraging words...sure I will be her friend...always...

Brinda,
Thanks for the soothing words...will try to 'maintain' that friendship..

Janani,
Thanks for your suggestion of being open to her...will follow that..moreover as the battle is 'half-won' like paadi kinaru thaandinamadhiri...had to cross the other half..
Will wait and see...

Hi Bhargavi,
I remember i had asked my mom this same question when i did my schooling...but i dont want to reveal the answer hehehe..
If your DD wishes to have a friend in the form of male then i feel u can encourage her to study/hang out with her group of girls along with that boy.I cannot figure if she meant to have BF as her life partner ..in that case she is too young..

Supriya,
Glad to see that your mom was also in the same boat as me....by the way, what did she answer to you so that I can pass on to my daughter .
As co-ed is from the preschool, there is no problem in talking to the boys...seeing them as a life partner...as you had mentioned, me too feel the same....she is young for that kind of thought..
