For want of a shoe !!

ha ha...even i've had the same experiences with rings, and bangles too... :)
even i've had thread tied to my ring as a kid...but managed to find one for my wedding....
but bangles....i had to literally search every tray in GRT...and then there were only two available...so i had to order two more... :)
then i got a couple of the locking/screw kind,and somehow overcame that hurdle... :)

Very Humorous and wonderful narration.Was in splits through out.Mine is opposite case..large feet.I always wore boring ones in India..I find good ones in US for my foot size..minus heels..

my dear same sad story with me too. in the shops they say i have child size..say less than 4 or 3 of some brands or even local....you know i cannot even buy a ready made salwar or churidar. if i go for the small size what they call is child/girl size the chest will not fit but if we go for large size then the length and other fittings will not set in...so always go for materials... like wise, my husband suggests that i buy the material for shoe or slipper what ever it is and give to the shoe marts along with my size and get it done for me. Royal! na?! we can proudly say specially made for me!!!
my people say "hei geetha you have not grown after 10th std, we feel..thank God at least your brain has grown a bit...it did not stop with 10th!!!!!" how is it?!! haha




exactly sowparnika...i too do not wear with even slight heels. only flat ones....so had trouble there in US too...even here most of the slippers come with heels pecil or pointed ones and if i ask a flat one the shop keeper infact laughs at me and looks at me as if an alien!!


hahahaahhah same experience here. but i manage to find one with flat heels and if not a shoe model with buckles which i like and prefer as it is helpful while riding two wheeler yet at least some slippers of 7th std girl's size...

ya, i read an article on the net about feet binding and saw a pic of such a feet...it was simply horrid....most of us cannot tolerate a pinching shoe for a few days....imagine a lifetime of pain and not being able to walk...
