dear srini maam,
ha ha...even i've had the same experiences with rings, and bangles too... :)
even i've had thread tied to my ring as a kid...but managed to find one for my wedding....
but bangles....i had to literally search every tray in GRT...and then there were only two available...so i had to order two more... :)
then i got a couple of the locking/screw kind, and somehow overcame that hurdle... :)

This one reminded me of my hunting for a ring...7 years back, my grandma asked me to buy a elephant-hair ring....(don't compare my picture now with that....huge difference)...we literally hunted for it...but alas the smallest size didn't even fit my ring finger, atlast we had decided to buy it and tied it with thread in layers to fit in...

Dear Kamalji,
I guess siblings come in handy for things like these...
wow, your bro's fetish for branded shoes is a grt advantage for you...lucky you, being the same size...!!
that's a good suggestion you have given, padding for shoes...why did'nt i think of that ? !

I never have probs, size 9 or 10 will do for me.Also we are 4 brothers, 3 of us have the same size. One of them, has at least 2 dozen shoes, branded from all pats of the world. And since i dont shy from wearing second hands of hius, i get free seconds from him, just a few months worn and he tires of tjhem.Saves me a lo of money, so i hardly buy any.Humility in accepting seconds pays u know.HAHA.

I think u should pad up yr feet to fit into larger shoes.Regards.kamal

I think it a few days even my daughters will overtake my feet size.So do not be disheartened, you are sure to find a pair you can wear and like too!!!
Like Kamla here has said do keep stocking them so that you need not look for them when they give way!!!
P.S. My shoe size is a closely guarded secret so than I can escape pals and others from poking fun at me.

Hi Friend,
Very Humorous and wonderful narration. Was in splits through out.Mine is opposite case..large feet.I always wore boring ones in India..I find good ones in US for my foot size..minus heels..

hi kanaka,
maybe you are right....we crib about what we think is a problem, till we come across an even bigger problem... :)
i've heard of this saying too....

now I think her size is available, though not enough variety.

hope you'll find a good one this time....

Dear Geeth maam,
it was so lovely reading your reply....i heartily reciprocate your ! aha, reading your reply was like deja vu !!

it is quite tru with me too. you know my people at home call me "naaladiyar" "kulla kathrikai" "vamani" (opp.gender to vamanan), "lilliput"

my dear same sad story with me too. in the shops they say i have child size..say less than 4 or 3 of some brands or even local....you know i cannot even buy a ready made salwar or churidar. if i go for the small size what they call is child/girl size the chest will not fit but if we go for large size then the length and other fittings will not set in...so always go for materials... like wise, my husband suggests that i buy the material for shoe or slipper what ever it is and give to the shoe marts along with my size and get it done for me. Royal! na?! we can proudly say specially made for me!!!
my people say "hei geetha you have not grown after 10th std, we feel..thank God at least your brain has grown a bit...it did not stop with 10th!!!!!" how is it?!! haha

exactly sowparnika...i too do not wear with even slight heels. only flat ones....so had trouble there in US too...even here most of the slippers come with heels pecil or pointed ones and if i ask a flat one the shop keeper infact laughs at me and looks at me as if an alien!!

hahahaahhah same experience here. but i manage to find one with flat heels and if not a shoe model with buckles which i like and prefer as it is helpful while riding two wheeler yet at least some slippers of 7th std girl's size...

but sowparnika let us not be sad....MOORTHI SIRITHU AANAL keerthi perithu. do not forget... so be and WE WILL HAVE OUR OWN SHOE FACTORY TO HELP PEOPLE LIKE US

love

hi padma,
