Thanks for the kind words.Yes,at that age I did not know that dad won't come back again.Long after my dad passed away ,I used to think and expect that dad would come back one day.It took me some time to realise that had gone away once and for all.
My mother was a strong force that shaped up my personality and if I have any good qualities in me ,I owe it to her.

My dear Lalitha,
Thanks.Iagree with you these simple women showed extraordinary strength of character when they had to face challenges in life.My mother,uneducated from a tiny village and was my fiend,philosopher and guide.
Lalitha,I have some stories which were published including theone which got published in Kalki. Kalki .I have to actually learn to scan and send them,not good at doing these simple things also.Most certainly,very soon I will scan and post the stories I wrote.
