| Your favourite In-law….. Today I went thru the in- laws and relationship column and was surprised to find only problems and complaints. So wondering whether I am the only one blessed I am starting this thread on your favourite in-law….hope many of u contribute to this …. My favourite is my SIL…my brother's wife. She is younger to me by 10 years so I regard her as quite a kid. My brother had a love marriage and as she was very good looking, educated, smart and from the same caste there was no opposition from both families. Now it is so many years since their marriage and my parents and I feel we would not have found a better match for my brother. She has been a superb DIL to my parents .As she lost her mother soon after their marriage my mother has been there for her delivery and a big support to her. My brother and SIL bought a flat for my mother on her 60th birthday in my mothers name. My parents visit my brother every year and all their birthdays and anniversaries are celebrated with lavish gifts. They have taken my parents along with them to all their trips abroad. My SIL attributes all the good things that happen in their life to my fathers prayers. In case of any upsets that they face she will immediately call up my father and confide and ask him to have an extra special prayer which I find really cute. I visited them last year and unfortunately fell sick so had to stay back with them for a month or two. It was the best holiday that I had. Nobody would have taken so much care of me. After I was okay they made me stay for a week more so that I could see all the places, insisted on paying for all my shopping and really pampered me. So my dear friends, am I not lucky to have such a SIL? May god give her the best of everything in this world. |

| Hi Mindian This is a wonderful thread that has been started. Ya mostly all the problems on in laws are been shared it is nice to share good in laws too. On my part my favourite is my FIL. he is gem of a person down to earth very helpful and jolly good person. Who changes himself according to genenration and like to enjoy with all his people around him. You will never hear any hurting words from his mouth. Very adjusting person, will help anyone who comes to him for anytype of help. Even with today's kids he adjusts so well and tells them so politely and jokingly what is not good for them. If he doesn't like something in today's kids, he will say I thing we should not do that way try doing this way and you will see his grandkids listening to him. He has some magic of love within him anyone gets attracted to him. I always give his position beside God.

| Hi, I think it is one thing to be nice and another thing to acknoweldge when someone is nice - that is what I liked about your post that you are so acknowleding of your SIL and she also seems to be such a nice person. Lucky for you and your family. As far as my Inlaws, I don't have a MIL now but while I knew her she was awesome and I have good relationship with my FIL and SIL, so really no complaints but my favorite, still my is MIL. |

I consider myself blessed! Thanks again, Mindian, for reminding me once again what wonderful in-laws I have.Regards, Anitha
