| Jealousy some times improves us as a person. Jealousy should be base to improve our own personality rather than using others to achieve our ends. But I see most of us are more used to taking the quick route to climb up in life rather than the real toil. We forget that in the process of mud slinging we do a great deal of damage to our own image and mind, which develops like a mutant to take pride in doing so. For each of these acts we cover up to show we are right each time so that we may enjoy this act and it then becomes a habit, like how they say you can fool some people all the time, you can fool all people sometime, but you cannot fool all the people all the time, they will be enlightened sometime or the other. I read an article which targeted one of the regular writers, saying that even though her writings are always about not so important issues, they are always highlighted by the editor because of their literary skill. The accuser won the first battle; the editor stopped highlighting her works. But the damage which he or she did to his or her own soul was it worth it? The people who are targeting other’s writings are really funny, the common usage of terms hints they are either the same person or a group of people. Their sole target seems to harass others without any ample reason. May be to scare or irritate other writers to silence so they can be the kings of the jungle. When they write they don’t even bother to read the stuff they are making comments on, or don’t even check the meaning of the words they are writing. I used to hear about such people, that there are people who are so envious by nature that they will go to any length to satisfy their envy, now after blogging for almost a year, I have realized that they do exist. But in the long run they always get defeated, because no matter how mud is splattered on rita, she is what she is, and no matter how much compliments are paid to a mediocre writer by his close friends, he will never become Rita. Now its our mindset what we will do, shall we try to throw mud at Rita and get famous that way, or we shall try to improve our skills as much as we can and hope some day we may be remembered like her. Never allow our mind to become a distorted to damage others and then it becomes a habit but to retain our own image by improvising on what we write and reach the mass with our mind and expression, right channelizing of our efforts will definitely pay off. None is born in this world as a mud slinger but then let us cultivate this habit of improvising all the way so that we stay in line and use that energy to come up rather than stay behind others and waste our energy….sunkan
