Dear AC,

Mobiles have become a bane to our society. When I travel on the local trains, you should hear the Chinese virtually yelling around on their phones. It is so disgusting.

The Indian students are no less. They have all the latest movie songs as ring tones & there you go you need not listen to the community radio for the Top 10 songs of the week.

Some even discuss their dinner or lunch menu & AC please do not get me wrong, these lovely people have in fact solved my problems (What to cook for tonight) many times. I even picked up tips on how to cook Paneer in a healthy way thanks to an over enthu Indian MIL suggesting the procedure to her Aussie DIL..

Sometimes these can be fun. Sometimes, they just irritate the life out of you.

Regards,

Corallux

Oh AC Sweety!!

Wonderful topic of discussion.

Talking loudly in public places whether it is on mobile or personal is considered as bad manners. To our dismay we have such ill mannered people all around us. When there is noise around, we shoudl politely tell the caller to hang up with an assurance of calling back later. If there is emergency, we need to cough up the speaker and speak to the caller. Well, I spend maximum time on cellphone as I have to interact with many people in a day.

When it comes to close friends, we always exchange SMS to convey things. In public places SMS exchange is the best way to communicte your thoughts.

When I used to travel by trains, I have often got irritated with these loud talkers. It is totally bad manners.

Thanks AC Dals for churning out such wonderful topics of discussion. I am ramblilng with full zeal....

Bye
