Nowadays girls are into all the fields possible. Earlier days getting a degree itslef was a big achievement for girls but nowadays doing a phd has become a matter of fact.
Very few families are not able to send the girls for higher education to colleges / universities cos of financial crisis or some other personal reasons. But I would say that at least 80% of the girls are sure to take up a degree thru regular / correspondence.
Parents feel that more than education giving knowledge to their children it would be a great asset for their girl in future like the saying "'KALVI KAI KODUKKUM". Even if the husband lets the girl down the education will not let her down. |
