How Do You React To Your Children's Passing Out With Colors In Exams

As you are aware I have two daughters both are academically good but still the younger one is sometimes lazy to study..........so to give her the motivation, I do tell her that if you get this much marks I will get so & so . I do get both of them something when they get the result but the day they finish their exams they are given a big ice cream treat.

A Very Lively Topic.I was an above average student till my college days .My Parents used to encourage me though not gifted anything.My mom was outspoken, she would appreicate and feel proud about, when dad would just say a Very good..but that very good out of his mouth would be a herculean tasks to achieve.Best Part was they will never compare class first marks and will not demand, why i got class 2nd or third.Dad always hated postmortem analysis after the exams and marks.

like how i have said it is not the academic but anything to boost the children, you know now many children will learn cricket in abig way and no one will shout saying that this is not going to help so the scenes are changing drastically and we need to help them if they have that as their dream, frankly speaking all those moghul empires are still a puzzle to me who is who's son and my priya is athupadi in that as she loves history, so in life we hardly get to work on something we studied except for maths may be but that too only costing and selling would do with a lot of multiplication otherwise these alzebra are all for the people who are going to use it for physics or other studies..so education system too should plan and give wonderful options for the children in india not only engineering and doctor and other IT proffessionals, take fine arts we hardly have any to name them, take carnatic music i dont think they are popular as much as it should had been, any way here i point out this is just my memory but to encourage and leave behind a nice past for our children is very much in our hand...sunkan

Sita is giving her Final year papers for ber BA, and i havnt thought what i will give her if hse comes out first in the whold of Rajasthan.HAHA.I will ask u for suggestions.You have met her and talked to her, so u will know what she wants.Regards.kamal

Last year when my son completed his standard 6,he was awarded the trophy for being the best all rounder in the school.It was a pleasant surprise for us.When he got that award,we asked him what he wanted and he wanted a cell phone and he has a cell phone now.This year again he's doing well academically.They get a letter of commendation here.He turned 12 last week and got lots of cash for his birthday.I asked him how he'd like to spend it and he said he'd like to save it.I usually leave it to his discrimination and see what he says and when he gives a good answer,I encourage him to put it into action.So far touchwod,he has never let us down. We took him out for a treat of his choice.

if she does that i think u should surprise her with the car u had in mind for her, she is a big girl and i think knowing her she knows how to handle herself, or may be something more to study, u can finance her a new educational scheme waiting with great anticipation for the news, do share it here..sunkan
