Thanks for stepping in. I had to share it as I had two sides of the same coin staring at me for some time.

You are right about divorce for petty reasons. Nowadays, I hear about many such reasons though some would really look ridiculous quoted here.

Thanks for stepping in. I have seen lot of example of the generation before mine. A close relative, a distant relative also. A couple like this in my generation where everything is easy, money oriented, status oriented, are a rarity.

There was this case near our house, the husband was in a temper and slapped the wife. She became deaf in one ear and did not notice it for sometime. Then slowly she lost the hearing in the other ear also. The wife had a sister. The man asked to marry his sister-in-law, or he would divorce the sister. The wife became deaf because of his behaviour . I really loathe thinking or seeing these kind of characters.

I also agree about adoption. The pressure is always there. How you take it and tackle it is life all about nowadays. If not this kind of pressure, it will be a different kind isn’t it.?

Thank u for sharing this beautiful and inspiring life of a real couple.........Actually its hard to believe that men like them do exist in this age also????? But i guess the word exception fits here very well........If it were the other way round and women had to take care of their husbands it would be natural for them to do so becoz women are more compassionate, caring and tolerant than men are. But reading ur post about this real couple, my heart feels like wishing that couple a lot of happiness, peace and fulfillment till the end of their lives..........
