Dear Preethi,

Mothers are the anchors of our life , the moment this prop is removed , there is a irreplacable vaccuum. Infact when I think of Mother I feel God merely created , the rest of the task and the difficult part of it was handled by Mom so in a way you can say that Mother is greater than God that is why God bestowed that responsibiilty on her!

Thankyou so much Preeti for the wonderful FB. Feels good to know like minded friends in IL . I am sure with the wonderful thoughts that you nurture within you , you would definitely make a great Mom.

Wish you a very Happy Mothers Day!!

Love,
Devika

Thank you for sharing with us such a beautiful moment from your life and giving us all something to remember on Mothers day ( i just saw this post today). I think as mothers we need to always remember to pass on values and be role models more than anything else to our children.
After reading thru i take the advice to add to my own list of thoughts to pass on to my daughter.

love and best wishes
preethi

quote=padmaiyangar;305521]The occasion of Mother's Day is extraordinary for all of us. It's time to love, kiss and hug the most precious creation of God- our Mother All through our lives we love to put our heads in the lap of our mothers, unmindful of our status, position and standing. For her, we always remain the small kid but this is the day to visit our Mother spend time with her, hold her hands and reassure her of our love and care. Some of the most beautiful messages from some of the greatest men and women of all times pay a glowing tribute to mothers on this Mother's Day

Dear Devika,

All I can say is You are really blessed to have such a mother. I simply admire her practical knowledge, her learning ability even after facing such a great grief. No wonder you are like what you are. I feel sorry for your dad's loss.
Its definitely not easy to bring up children single handedly and also run the family business. My to your mom. Come to think of it, your children must be more fortunate to have your mom and you together.

Warm regards,
Hema

Dear Hema,

Thankyou so much for writing in!

Yes we are indeed fortunate to have our Mom with us and its very inspiring to see how she conquered the world for us. Nothing much changed in our life after Dad's demise. My mother saw to it. We enjoyed the same social status. Yes it is very difficult to bring up kids singlehandedly atleast in India where the rules were very rigid where women are concerned, and that too two decades back!

She is a very practical lady , very pragmatic and she always feels that it helps in paving the way to success!

Happy Mothers Day to you Hema!!

Love,
Devika

Dear Aishu,

Thankyou so much... I am glad you visited me again . You dont need to apologise dear..Its been a celebration week for you...so probably you were busy.
Aishu thankyou so much for the wonderful words of appreciation towards my Mother. She is truly a lady with a lot of fortitude. Yes she is very pragmatic , and still ponders over vital decisions, is never very impulsive.
We are all blessed to have her as our Mother!
Thanks for the kind words Aishu. You find me nice because you are so good yourself.

Love,
Devika
