Mothers are always wonderful , the fact being that as a woman being a Mother is in itself strength personified. I love my Mothers steel srength and determination in a world that was totally unknown to her until the moment that Dad left the world.

I am totally overawed by the fantastic person your Mother is ! Such a strong and lovable woman, I know for sure that you will be a great mother and hope you pass this as legacy to your kids!

It is as much a pleasure interacting with you all as it is in writing this piece for you to read!

One great quality that my mom has imbibed in me, is the capacity to face the world confidently in toughest of times! My mother is one person who just does not have anyone disliking her!(touchwood).She has recouped through a lot of tough times and handled delicated situations with great knack! I do admire respect and look upon her, and at times even imitate her way of handling people! But i have a looong way to go to be half as good as amma! :)

My Dearest Chechi,

Your words made me cry and then they put a balm on the soul! A lovely inviting paradox in life!
I missed my Dad a lot in life especially the growing years , not only because I was his pet but because I wished he could see the woman, the enterpreneur , the acheiver who was totally unknown to him during his living years. It is never easy to raise your children single handed and always be there for them whenever they needed you! Now witnessing her grit in life and her seemingly endless energy makes me want to do that extra more for my home and my profession!

I am so glad Chechi that you agree to the fact that some funny norms that just manages to bring about grief to someone shouldnt be followed. Though it is never easy to persuade a bindi on a widow's forhead ,I am glad I managed to do so, also her efforts at not leaving the city no matter how bad the circumstances is something we as children are indebted to!
Yes Chechi I shall always treasure her words and I know that this is one gift to pass on as inheritance!
My Dear Chechi, When you say I am generous , affectionate and lovable , I am merely reciprocating similar feelings that I have been getting from wonderful friends in IL. You for one are love and motivation personified!

She has been a single Mother and its really a very challenging to run your home and business especially if one has never ventured into it before. I salute her for the quiet in her without shouting from rooftops about her acheivements. Her modesty is admirable. Her principals and morals need to be applauded because they have helped a family sail through tough times and emerge a winner. Mothers all ove the world are great . Thats what I implied in my previous thread , Where Om ends Ma begins . Ma symbolises Om on earth,
My Mother is a very courageous lady . A firm head resting on her shoulders. I have learnt a lot from the advice she provided me , prepared myself in advance for a lot of things in my life. I wished to share it here and I am glad you think its going to be helpful to all those who read it . Believe me it definitely will.
