Hi Mindian,

Yoh have put the right words, she was a great to be with. It is not my expression, but ask anyone who has met her.. They would just say, "Mals you are so lucky to have a mother like her, she rocks yaar". I am proud of her and will always be.

Thanks dear for stepping in with your contribution.

Happy mother's day dear.

Hi Ammu,

My mother was multi-faceted she could do anything from cooking to contesting, singing, dancing, interacting with people, making friends, touring around alone, fighting a battle, taking up causes, helping people, be a child to a child an adult to an adult, relate to people of all ages, even if I have picked up a fraction of her qualities, I would say I am blessed. And now you have made me feel so. Most of the people who know her always say, I am just like my mother.

Thanks Ma, I want the torch to be bright forever. I will strive for it Ma. I will, I promise.

Thanks for writing in.

Hi Sunkan,

Myself and my sister always say, "Amma is the mirror of God. Do not hurt her, do not bring tears in her eyes, do not misuse her love for you, do not make her slog just because she loves to. Give her rest, her time has come to enjoy reading books, watching tv, and doing all that what a teenager should be doing as after 55 she needs rest, not my mother all mothers on this earth. It is our duty to bring those teen days in their life and luckily myself and my sister did. My mother did not even know how much did a kilo of tomato cost after she crossed fifty. We had taken the reins in our hand. Her duty was to cook for us. No cleaning, no washing, nothing else. Only cooking and putting off the gas. She was an awesome cook and could not take that off from her.

Thanks for writing in.

Hi Divya,

Even your mom is a strong woman. My mom never made us feel that we do not have father. we never missed him much as she was there to climb, to jump, to hit, to knock, to fight, to discuss, to bring in what we want. Sometimes I wonder, how she did all this. My respect for my mom went hundred folds up when I picked my bag to earn. I undrestood earning for living is not a joke, it was a tough task. She never gossiped, always was in to reading, she loved to read, she loved to keep practising her rangolis, she would watch movies on tv, dance and music shows were her favourite, she was not for the bhakthi channels etc..

Yes, she has thought me to to kick when people try to act smart with me and I do that very well. He he...

Thanks for stepping in.
