Prez Bush indian middle class & food

If now any Americans are having shortage of food we the middle class Indians have to worry about this also along with the nuclear treat and rise of petroleum products, Terrorism, price inflation & all.
The Mighty man Bush has now blamed the middle class of India to consume food more than their share so the Americans are having shortage of food. Ha Ha Ha
They are using their maze & other food grains to produce bio fuel taking our rice & wheat to give pasta & pizza to Americans & still blaming us for shortage.
America is one country who doesn’t want any body else to be self sufficient this is a true statement on record, this I can say with my hand on GEETA. They blamed Iraq for bio weapons & destroy the country and found none ,though thousands of Iraqi children ,females & males were killed along with many American soldiers .Though Iraq was more democratic than our near neighbor have less to do with terrorism.

They were happy when we Indians were dependent on there Pl 480 wheat grains.But now they are not happy if we eat properly they blame us for their hunger how funny.

American eat more than 6 times of a Indian . The amount of wheat & grains they fed to animals to slaughter them for meat result in there share of six times the Indians.

But in a positive ways there are 35 karores who have well done in there life though it is a different matter with remaining 65 karores.

But looking to this from a different point I know that from a country which used to live with Sayam, fast & upwas we are fast emerging as a nation who like to roll in luxuries, Live with much showoff & waste a great amount of food, water & electricity. They are national Wastage but we think that if we can pay the price we can waste these things as we want.

Every one of us must have witnessed & attended lots of parties ,marriage receptions where so many items are served that tasting alone wud fill one’s stomach & people fill their plates to brim with every thing not worrying even if raita is mixing with gulabjamun (what a different taste that must be ) & all ,eat small portion & dump in waste basket , imagine how much food we are wasting ,how many poorer can be fed on the leftovers from a party if properly stored & send to street people.

So much food is wasted in all five star affairs where it is taken that if u finished Ur plate completely means u are not mannered enough to move in these high societies.

Now our kids don’t know the ABCD of farmers ways - as we middle age people know even if we are working in other fields we know the tough work of farmers & wasting a small morsel of food is like insulting these hard working people who work day & night to fed us and we never think abt them .
So many farmers committing suicide and shifting from their occupation & population rising every day think where we wud be?

How much shortage of food in coming days & for our next generation. What wud these children of IT & Computer wud do?

But for Amricans - I can ask all indians to take out one chaptti in their name if they are hungry along with the chappati we take out for cow & dogs daily Ha Ha Ha .

That was a good one from you! Yes. We all know what a 'gnanasoonyam' Bush is, right from the time he was elected for the premier post almost 8 years ago..... he didn't know about India when he was quizzed about by one of the journalists in a press-meet.... There was a famous saying on the Prez & vice-prez elect (Dick Cheney, I think) --- One without brains (i.e Bush) and one without heart (i.e Cheney since he underwent some heart surgery)

And now he has the guts to say such remarks... no wonder America is headed to where it is heading now! I saw in one of the reports that the rate of increase in consumption in the US is higher than it is in India for the year 07-08....this inspite of India's population being much higher than US!!! Wonder what he has to say for this

On the 2nd part of your writeup, it is true that tremendous amount of food gets wasted in marriages and parties.... we had been to 2 marriages in Feb on consecutive days.... OMG... the food court was too too lavish.... I could not just figure as to why they need to show-off so much...instead they could have fed a couple of 1000's of poor people..... god knows where India goes....looks like the US way for sure.....

Having said that, I think it is the resposibility of each one of us to bring in a positive change.... If each one who reads this takes a determination not to waste food, then I think it can make a small difference.....

Don't bother about what Bush has stated...he is doing this for the past 8 years...
It is the human tendency to blame on others when there is fault on oneself...
As economy is going south, Bush has nobody to blame, except the fast growing nation on earth, INDIA..
talk about the marriages, festivals and get-together parties...as you had mentioned they take a lot and waste a lot...but did you know that the people behind them don't get the full menu served???
Sure we should make it as a point not to waste food at any given time...should teach our children too.... make our daily food, in such a way that the amount to be kept in the fridge,be less.

I dont think he has 'blamed' Indians as much as recognised the power of India in the new world economy. Finally India has become prosperous enough for its actions to affect the world ! Until now inspite of having the worlds largest population (or the second largest until a year ago) India's consumption of food or oil was so low that it was not noticeable ! Now our prosperity has made the world sit up and take notice

You won't beleive me, I had planned to write abt Bush here after hearing to his remark but was busy & could not do so. But you have brought it out very well may be I would have failed to do justice in this. Kudos dear.

I also felt very bad on hearing Bush's remark and it is true US is sonsuming more than India though our population is higher than them.

Coming to your second part, I am against wasting of food...... How many of our brothers & sisters are without food. Atleast I ensure in my family that nobody wastes food. My younger one was wasting food then I took her to an orphange and showed her how those kids were lacking the basic things in life. From that day..touch wood.........she does not waste one morsel also.

Bush is as such a joker. He does not know what he speaks. Has America ever taken a blame for anything that has happend in the world?
