oh geeth,
what a name u made me think u r a punjabi, any way what a write up u reminded about my husband's penchant drooling over this stuff and once married he and my mother both used to do this with great co ordination poor fellow he used to press this alone and all used to enjoy, like how u said my mom presented me with one sevai nazhi when she saw he cannot do without, this item they had servants in the hotel and so it was easier to eat but alone to do it was a great effort, yes even i have done the coconut oil thalicha sevai with morkozhambu and pappdam for him, he used to enjoy this immensely, to day also mamabazha morkozhambu his fav, thanks for taking us along the trip to those days...sunkan

And as you said it will be on a sunday and honestly we would have some unexpected guests, where we had to share our sevai and we the kids used to . But now due to lack of time or rather sombari thanam instant sevai dhan lifestyle ayivitadhu. Ippo recenta PGT poi irudhen, nanna sevai sapitu vandhen.

Thanx for the writeup and jollus............ If somebody can give a sevai making machine, I would be truly ver happy to have that.

As many ILites had written here, took me back to my days of youth... Me and my brother were the ones who used to help my mom make it using the 'sevai-nazhi'.... Last summer, when I had taken my sons to my parent's place, they enjoyed playing this role helping 'patti' make delicious 'sevai'.

Saw the link given by Chitra Mam. mmm ... very tempting.... have anybody used it? Any feedback on the product?

Anyway! Thanks for the nice piece of writing!

Cheers!
Dear vase,
thanks a lot.....lot...yes i am also looking for the feed back on the product mentioned by chithra mam and meena...it looks awesome right?
