Yes Kamalji, even i wonder many times...that is it just to prove their fertility that they plan a family.

If they are not ready to take the added responsibilities that come with a child then people should refrain from increasing the population on this earth and give mother earth some rest.

Great views from you Devika.

Parents don't have tome for their kids but they have lot of expectations in return. Also if something goes wrong they will say we tried to give our best but don't know where did we fail.

Give your best yes...but that was materialistic...did you give your time or ever bothered to ask the child what s/he wants.

Today i read in the papers a girl commited suicide as she was feeling lonely. The parents used to quarrel a lot and few years ago the father left the mom and daughter alone and married someone else. The mother passed away last year and the girl was living with her aunt and uncle. Even after this incident the father has not shown up.

Here too when i read in the relationships forum the trouble between couples and then they talk iof having a child so that everything will fall in place.....i don't understand why in the first place one thinks of a child to settle all problems between a couple. If they can't get along are not compatible why the hell are they thinking of bringing one more life in this world and mess up things.

I feel that if a couple is not compatible then they should not opt for a child coz if god forbid and still they don't get along after raising a family then imagine what all that child will go thru for no fault of her/his.

Roopa.

hi Roopa,

wonderful topic.
As a mother we have to take out time for our children even if we are working. we have to talk to them .
we have to teach our kids moral values.
Human value is the most important thing in life.
what is the use of money if we don't have time for our kids???
