Cool Old radio channel and flashback memories.

Hi all,

Old radio channel and flashback memories.

I don’t know whether it is a myth or a truth that people of today ( we exactly) are loosing interest in enjoying life. But still I observe that a person ‘s enthusiasm, interest ,humour are suppressing as age and experience rolls on.Is it true?I cannot totally deny the fact because it seems to be true in some or few cases. There can be many reasons which are justifiable such as
health, stress, dissatisfactions and disappointments in life, the death of a loved one, broken relationships, facing difficulties in working environment etc.

Likewise due to various situations in a period of time makes us unaware of our favourable aspects in life. For instance before four or five years when I am in college I can find the extreme joy in me when I am wearing a new dress or going for an outing or a shopping. No such excitements now.Though I agree those things are age related pleasures and interests but there are people who wants to pursue a degree even in their fifties or more. The statement “Age is not a barrier for anything”is well said by learned people .The problem is not the age but our interest and approach towards life.

So friends there may be many such incidents which may be interesting in your life and which vanished in due course .So to rewind your old memories , share your flash back stories here.

Share your incidents which was interesting before and which is dropping down now.So friends tune your mind to Vividh Barathi(a famous radio channel once upon a time)and keep going.

Dear Bhargavi,
A Nice Topic to discuss about.Sometimes most of you surprise me no end, from where you guys get the ideas..It may not be a great thought or story or a poem, but makes an interesting rad and encourage participation saying..yes, i have one to share too....simply some posts are mind blowing dear...This is one among those
Okay, now let me come to the topic. My work and style of living have curbed me from going out..i mean from visitng friends or relatives.I use to be so frequent in paying visits to my relatives place or friends and always they used to tell me that whenever they need or think of me, i'm ther at their service.But......what now.... i have lot more responsibilities and work pressure...so i dunt get time to meet them often..and spend quality time ....I'm hoping for those days to come.

Dear most aishu
First of all myriad of thanks for ur appreciation.Your words are really encouraging and my devout thanks to you dear.It is you like people's feedback which really embellish the thread. You are extremely well said dear.Due to our work pressures and scarcity of time we hardly find time to visit friends and relatives.Even a phone call wishing relatives on festival day is vanishing these days.We happen to meet our relatives only on account of any marriage or some get togethers...

Thanks once again.Keep posting...

Dear Bhargavi,

It is a very interesting topic you have started. We miss so many things. With changing times our taste also changes. I used to love listening to radio. I haven't seen a radio for ages. Even though it is outdated ,listening to songs in radio was a joy.

Bhargavi Mam,
You are right.Since it becomes the fastest world, every one is keep on running. In the cities like Chennai, every where there is a crowd and every one is in urge to do their works. They even don't know about their neighbors. In older days, the way they construct their house is different. In front of the house they used to have 'Thinnai'. So passengers can take rest over there. But see today's People's mentality. They want to be separate from other people and want to be so secure.Even it reflects in the way they build the house.
