What's happening in India?????

Hello,
I was shocked to read this news recently that a Techie from Bangalore killed his wife and hanged himself because he suspected his wife fidelity.
The suspension seed was sowed by some guy by sending SMS to wife's mobile and husband saw it etc…. The story goes on like this…..
Today I read a news that many spouses are flooding the requests to city police and cell phone service providers seeking call details of their spouses/boyfriends/girlfriends.

Is it not a heavy strain on the relationship????

I read abt. this too, and was totally in shock,a nd was wondering what is our world coming to? Its very sad, and I wish the guy would ahve taken it easy, investigated and then come to a decision - if it was'nt what he suspected, then carry on with their lives. If that was the case, separate, and move on with ur lives!

well said puni, ofcourse it's a stress on relationship, all the relationship's are built on trust, the problem starts when one starts to question it. i don't know where this is going but what i think is this hi-tech things like video's in moblie phones etc.. is really spoiling many peoples lives.... couple of months ago, my husband got a sms from india saying"hi remember me" my dh thinkning that his friends are playing replied "i don't think so but i think you should be my friend since iam getting this sms from india" he immediately got another sms saying "no we met in aircraft i was the crew and my name is sylvie" seeing that we understood that this is some spam, and he never replied and we didn't get anything again. who would do such things?i don't get it? what's happening??????????

I agree with you... he should have investigated.
But look at the people now.. they want to spy on their spouses.
Such a pathetic situation. There is no trust on each others.

There are few people who thinks it is fun to send SMS and would never think before that they are doing a blunder.

its widely happening in major cities. rich people keep track of their daughters seeking this cell phone trace out.

in the recent movie "Anjathe", the police would keep track of the culprit with the cell phone towers. finally they would reach him using the same technique.

mistrust on the spouses and misuse of these cell phones always end up in disasters.

But it really scares me about this lifestyles in major cities in India.
In US, we are not exposed to these kinds of culture. And the good part is we have limited Indian society and we know most of everybody.
So there is no chance of this flirting and all..

No puni,even here within the indian community i have seen affairs and things.
I know of one such incident where a woman got married and came here on H4 and started having an affair with her husband's friend.She even started staying with that other man.This husband had to divorce her.
So it is happening her also puni but maybe the incidence is less thats all.
