The first time you fought with the neighbours for me you were so strong MA

The first time I won you screamed with joy MA
The first grey hair of yours I pulled out MA
The first time after marriage while I went you choked on tears MA
The first time I went away you couldn’t speak MA
The first letter of yours made me cry so much MA
The first time I told you about being a granny you danced MA
The first time you held my baby you kissed my forehead MA
The first face my daughter saw was yours MA
Someday she too will write this to me MA
And I’d relive our life together MA
Today I write this MA
Because you are the strongest woman I know MA

A very poignant ode to a mother, who protects us and thinks of our well being through out i think it is because god cannot be every where he made mothers...you have raised so many emotions in your poem....lovely piece....

A Wonderful ode to a mother.How true.Now that we are parents ourselves, and the kids whom we have given birth to, sometimes backanswer us, then we know what our mothers did for us, and how much they went thru to raise us up, and educate us with the limited resources they had then at their disposal,sacrificing a movie, to pay our school fee.
