Exchange of Letters- A MUST READ

    Dear Pop,
I am very sorry to hear about mom's ill health. During my last visit I had asked her to get her check ups done regularly and she had nodded in affirmative and this news is real shock to me. I could sense the distress you are going through my dear Pop and I really wish I was there with you. My presence would not make any changes in the situation but would give you some support.

I spoke to my seniors and they have refused to give me any further leave as we have a client presentation and I am representing the company. I may have to proceed to <SCRIPT><!--D(["mb","Germany\u003c/span\>\u003c/i\>\u003ci\>\u003cspan style\u003d\"font-family:Arial\"\> and am shouldering responsibilities which are not so easy to shudder. hi mals,

Welcome back yaar...par yeh kyaa vapas atey hi rula diya....

IT is really very sickening(i will not say touching...) to read these letters....of what kids are becoming.... Why dont they realise, a worser scene may be waiting for them when their turn comes...

The mom would have been more happy if the DIL, had brought the GD during her last days.....

I can go on and on...but i don't want to write on this topic....

    Dear Applepie,
    Welcome back.
Your post is heart-rending, but a true reflection of today's world.
I cannot help, recollecting Gibran's words

Your children are not your children.
They are the sons and daughters of Life's longing for itself.
They come through you but not from you,
And though they are with you, yet they belong not to you.

This is the harsh truth, with due respect to my own children !

In tamil, there is a saying

    Thennaiyai vaithal ilaneeru
    Pillayai pethal kanneru

It cannot be more true, though bitter.

    Love,
    Chits.

    Dear Mals,

Welcome back.... That is a very very touching reply....

The letters depict the current trend running among the kids and the parents.... But I would like to point out there are exceptions to that...

This is a very sensitive issue for me personally,... So... leaving it as it is.... This gives me my flash back....

Nice to see a different relationships......

    Dear Veda,
You have every right to disagree with me !
You are much younger to me & I have seen more of life !
It has happened to my own relatives, sadly.
    Love,

    Dear Chitvish,

I fully agree with you that and I will never dispute your experience... Sorry, if I have said something wrong...

When I read those letters, I was forced to go back a few pages in my life book... It had touched some sensitive portion of my life... and the decisions taken... Of course possitive... NO REGRETS.... I am happy, we were not like this family....

Like Shan said, this is the general trend and there are few exceptions....
