Dear Sathya, Nice description of the scene in your house on Pooja day. It is clever of you to have pointed out about the burners, utensils etc. not included just to cook prasadams. Ofcourse, there is no better prasadam than fruits. Regards, TDU

Hi Shanthi, That's for ayutha poojai which all the people do celebrate religiously. All the things they use for their livelihood are cleaned and painted on that day. See even now the lorries, taxies get painted and washed only during this time. These get cleaned only once in a year but Kitchen ??? We have to clean it regularly na ?? Hello TDU, They have to clean their utensils and stove at the restaurants also . Don't you think so? If they also take leave what will happen? only fruits, Prasadams as well as food!! Love Latha ![]()

| Hai sathya Very nice post and very very nice idea ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() See my enjoyment , if somebody says "u need not cook today" - that day is MOST HAPPIEST DAY for me( dont think, iam cooking daily without holiday, my mom resides next door, almost all weekend its her duty to give food for all timing, i wake up late, will jus have food time by time , go out with mu hubby ..............) Still,if there is SPECIAL DAY DEDICATED TO THIS, iam so happy (gujarathi's - iam feeling jealous of u) latamurali

HI Satya, So on saraswathi pooja i dont mind giving rest for cooking gas, stove,... but laptop, telephone:confused::confused:, its difficult na???? We keep sandhanam, kumkum for fan, light, windows, door, showcase,tv, fridge but still we use them and e dont switch off everythig, so laptop, telephone are same thing like that so we can keep kumkum but its ok if we use it. I think so............ Correct me if i am wrong. Bala

Hey Bala, that's what i am thinking too! How about a day without TV include those with the list! Sathya , very nice idea which comes only to you and not to me sriniketan

Dear Sathya you are writing here makes all our visits worthwhile what a whole day to go by with not a peek from you that is too much to ask of us and yes all utensils and such do need to be kept in puja so lets all take a break and celebrate ![]()
