Cool Boy Turns Cop in Reality!!!!!!!!

Everyone has his own dreams. You work hard to make our dream a reality. Your designation, quailifaction etc.. does not matter, your dream matters the most.

A young lad enters the tinsel city called Mumbai, obviously running away from home, persuading his dreams. He was 14 years old when he landed up in Mumbai. Life was not so rosy for him. He had little or nearly no money to survive. Mumbai did not give him any comfort that he saw in movies or clippings. He rolled on the street, tucked his stomach when hungry, cried tears but never went back home. He had come here to achieve and he had decided he will face the weather.

Friends, he worked very hard for three years, did all odd jobs and saved 3/4th of the money he earned. At the end of three years he was having a substantial amount with him. He decided to return back home and surprise his parents, sisters and brothers. He purchased "gifts" for all of them with that hard earned money. He also bought a mobile for himself worth Rs.8500/- (impressive isn't it), kept hard cash aside to give his parents and decided to board a train back to his native.

He reached "Kalyan Station" very early and decided to hand around the station. The train was in the evening. A young man walked up to him and befriended him. He pulled the boy out of the station on the pretext of having quick lunch. When your time is not in favour, you tend to take such steps. The boy joined him for lunch, then he coaxed him for a movie. he suggested that theatre is a better place than station to hang out. He pushed the boy in front to enquire about the availability of the tickets. The boy gave the bag to that stranger and walked to the ticket counter and when he returned, the man was poooooooohhhhhhhhhh..........
He fainted in few minutes.

When he gathered his senses, he rushed to Kalyan Police Station to register a complain. They showed him the photos of some famous pilferers. The boy told the police that the face of the robber did not match with the photographs. Instead of registering a complaint, he was asked to go.

The disheartend boy, had tears rolling down his cheeks. He recollected all the odd jobs he did to buy "gifts" for his family and the robber took them away in a jiffy. He collected his courage and decided to fight back. Friends, since he was from the street, he was familiar with their behaviour patterns. He lived on the platfrom from thereon. Everyday, he would take rounds on each platfrom from morning to evening, in search of that face, which tattered him dreams. That man never returned. The boy was determined to nab him. He will, he consoled himself and again took rounds.

In the meantime, he had befriended the coolies, shoe polishers, rag pickers, canteen boys, some other street boys like him and had taken all of them in to confidence. After three weeks, the "MAN" appeared. Our young lad recognised him but did not make any noise. He went and collected his new "friends" and together they nabbed him. That "MAN" was shocked to see the young lad.

They dragged him to the police station and asked the police to take the action. When the police searched his home they found the bag of the young boy with the clothes and other gifts intact. The cash and mobile was missing. The police have decided to recommend the boy for 'Gallantry Award'.

Isnt it interesting my friends?

BOY TURNS IN TO A COP AND
COP TURNS IN TO A BOY ..... HA HA........

(Courtsey... Times of India and Mumbai Mirror)

BRAVE BOY-COP GETS MORE IN RETURN:

A Bhandup (Suburb in Mumbai) based NGO = People's Power of Nation has promised to give him a part time job and enroll him in a night school.

Kind and helpful strangers have loaded him with gifts and cash.

A Western Suburb resident left an envelope containing Rs.10,000 in the Mumbai Mirror Office for the boy.

A Web Designed has promised to buy for him a mobile.

More people have come forward to help the Boy-Cop. He has refused to take more help as he feels HE HAS GOT MORE THAN WHAT HE HAS LOST.

He has planned to stay with his parents for one month and return to Mumbai for his NIGHT SCHOOL.

BRAVO MUMBAIKARS........... BRAVO HUMANITY........

hi mals,

That was a nice news for a change...after reading about kids who run away and get into unwanted.. reading about a kid who worked hard..and learnt the value of the hard earned money..

I really believe, you learn to appreciate and have respect for things when you earn it the hard way like the boy....

May the likes of him rise.

(. Sorry since we all know a lot about the thefts and how the cops operate... no comments..on that frome me.)

Dear Mals,

That is a nice story.....

Determination and hard work always gives rewards.... I have seen in practical life...

In my career I had the fortunate or unfortunate opportunity to work with the Police Dept...... All are not Bad.... There are Good ones.... But it is becoming a rare Phenomena nowadays.... So ......

Mals,

That boy should not just be simply awarded but be given some good job which will help him earn more and spend more for his family and for the soceity. If given him good opportunity he will be a good citizen. The incident that has happened to him did not take the wits out of him and had made him an outlaw or a law breaker instead made him a law saver. If the boy is someone whom you have encountered, my sincere suggestion to you personally, as a HR person why dont you suggest him for a good vacancy according to his caliber???!!!???

Hope you will help him and make his dreams come true.
