Blessed are we…

The visit to the doctor confirmed our guess. The days went by as usual. The first few months were quite different from the last time. A bit difficult balancing office and home, irregular meal times did nothing to help ease the situation.

‘Thank God for the help and support from Amma and Appa’ she said…
Time flew by and everyone waited expectantly… finally, the day came to go to the hospital, carrying the bag packed in readiness for this occasion.

Dear readers, are you wondering about what’s coming? I’m sure you would have guessed…

Yes, just history that has a way of repeating itself… only this time, Bhavani Maa has showered Her Grace on us... three days ago, DH and I became the proud grand-parents of a beautiful grand-daughter!

The events unfolded exactly as they happened the last time. A feeling of anticipation as we entered the hospital, the few hours spent in the lounge, DH calmly reading the Sai Sat-Charita and yours truly chanting Her name, our grandson asking us every so often if Kutti Papa will come soon…

The doctor congratulating us, DDIL with a smile that made the sun, moon and stars pale in comparison, DS holding an incredibly tiny bundle in his arms, ecstatic, gazing with wonderment at this miracle…. Clearly she'd already wrapped him around her little finger!

As my music teacher quipped ‘Amba Kamakshi paadi paadi Avale onga aathukku vanduttaalaa’!
