Hi Kts,

It was lovely to read your post and you have wonderfully laced it with humor. The kitten on the photos is so cute. It was a delight for us to see the photos of it. I also hope that the kitten is keeping good somewhere.

I can understand what you are going through and pray that you will get out of it soon.

Anabika

Chitra - They are surely keeping me in good shape and at the same time my temper is also rising .

Mindi - you toooooooooo! Poor Veeru, I don't think he realises what my actual affection to pets is like. Certainly looks like a safe haven for them because you know what? The mother and kitten are back in my backyard again! I was relieved to see the kitten safe and cuddled up to the mother, but the bad news is that my saga continues..........I might follow Saraswathi's family tradition I think of witnessing several generations of them in my backyard.

Kamalji - Absolutely thrilled to see you here. Jaankar khushi hui ki aapko post/blog achha laga. Until you just mentioned, I did not realise that the manufacturers surely did this on purpose! Well they are always on the winning side as I have to get a new bottle from the supermarket now.

Jaishree9 - Nice to meet you and lovely to see you here as well. The kitten is adorable to watch but ...........

Anabika - I am glad that I had the presence of mind to take a couple of shots of the kitten. The mum is always on guard, so I get scared to get closer. Somehow managed these with my mobile phone when the mum was not around. And yes, they both are fine and back in our backyard again . Thank you for your prayers, as I need them a lot.

Litha - I did not think I would write about them, but my head is filled with dealings with the cats everyday that I had to let them out somehow. I feel a bit free now and ready to tackle them again for some more time.

Once again, thank you all for the encouraging words. I am really really glad to see that I do have company here with the way I feel about pets and also very nice of you all to drop by and spend a few minutes.

Dear Sree,
Lovely pictures and beautiful narration. In our house also a cat gave birth to 4 kittens. But cats shift the kittens often to different places. While this cat was doing so one kitten fell from her grasp and she just left it. We got pity and used to feed her daily. It was really fun to watch the kitten playing. But after 3/4 months it fell sick and refused to drink milk. It was becoming weak and we got worried. We called blue cross people and they came to pick it up. The kitten which was so weak now ran here and there and the man told my DH to coax and put it in a cage which they brought. My DH managed to catch it and with a heavy heart he put it in the cage. The blur cross person told that if we want it back he would bring it back after giving treatment. But we told him that they could just set it free when it could manage on its own. It was very cute i golden colour and really we missed it for some time. We had the pictures of all the kittens, but unfortunately our hard disk got corrupted and the pictures were lost.Your write up kindled my memory.
PS

Thank you for confirming my doubts Saraswathi !!

Dear PS mami,
Wow,what a great surprise to see you here too. Really sad to hear the story of your kitten. All these days I have been addressing the kitten in my backyard as The Kitten, but off late I have noticed me saying My Kitten! . Can't help but adore it and feel attached. We have not been feeding the mother or the kitten for that matter. I know that sounds cruel, but I am very sure the others will also come expecting the same. Thank you for your kind words.
