It's Saree day today at my work place

Dear Friends,

It's Saree day today at my work place. You must be thinking what is so special about wearing a saree. Special is i work in US and this is the first time i could wear saree in the office.I just love wearing sarees but do not get much chance to do it here. We ( Most of the Indian Ladies) planned that we will be coming in ethnic dresses( preferably saree) to celebrate Diwali. It is kind of surprise for others because no body knew apart for this group. We had a short get togather exchanged compliments and shared some sweets.

Best part of it was my American boss suggested for a lunch out plan and the ladies of my team went out for lunch.

Worst part is i did not work much and i am not feeling like doing it too..

Just thought of sharing this with you guys and wishing you a very very Happy Diwali..

Iam sure you enjoyed saree to work especially when you don't use it. Even we are not allowed saree at work place due to safety reason,so it is always pants.

With saree you had holiday feeling,so it was less productive,nevertheless we can enjoy it.

It indeed is a pleasure to wear 'our kinda' dress. We used to have the same kind of feeling when we wore sarees during our college days...nostalgic feelings
