It is too early in the day for you to write about the final journey.However it contains pearls of practical wisdom on handling money and pundits in the post departure scenario.We also discuss as to how the other person should handle the post departure scenario but this happens only when we run out of ideas on how to handle the remaining days in this beautiful world.

Dear Lakshmiji,

Well i have not run out of ideas , as i have so much to share and write .

My dad was always ready, though he was just 67, and he was always telling us that he could go tomm though heale and hearty.

As Varlotti wrote, the departure date is written in invisible ink, and i agree.And iw anted harsha to know my wishes, so that she is not troubled after i am no more.

With a versatile uinterest and feertile imagination you can never run out of ideas.What I meant was that at home mithila and I enter the portals of post departure scenario or with whom we will stay when we lose our steam.Normally this happens on week ends when the favourite serials are off air.Once good programs are on including war hysteria our conversation is on preparing a road map for the country or issue specific solutions.What is divine bonus is that I have an intellectual companion at home to steer away from the boredom of lonliness.

That was a heart touching post that sure came straight from your heart!

It was wonderful to read your thoughts on this sensitive topic. I agree with you that this kind of open and candid communication is a must. After all, one of our main goals in working hard through the years is to secure our life in old age and during times when certain not-so-pleasant realities of life strike us. Hence we must be as prepared and equipped as we can be.

It was an honest opening of your heart to one of the most important persons in your life and we are lucky that you shared it with us.

My parents (particularly my Dad), has talked to me about what he would like to be done as his last rites, what are his wishes etc. We talk about this stuff once in a while when he has more to add. His thoughts are very much like yours. He has told me that what we (his children) to for his departed soul does not matter to him because he is already gone. We must do what makes us feel good.

Anyway, this is a topic that noone generally likes to discuss at length but I do think it must be talked about once in a while and make your thoughts on it known to your close ones.

This post of your rightfully deserves the FP nomination!
