As for you, dear friend.... I hope you live forever and ever... entertaining so many of us ( ladies....in IL.... faithful to Harsha? I'll tell her you have been entertaining the women in IL for almost a year!... ) And, pal.... if at all you cross over to the other side, I do really hope you find yourself in a NON-VEG heaven, swimming in scotch...
Regards. | Dear Viju,
Harsha read this and she was annoyed today, said what will everyone think that i am after your money ?
i was myself surprised, for did i mean this ? God knows ladies mind really.Try to make them happy and comfortable, and they think something else
she does not like anything morbid, nor anything of the past, well i jell with both these topics really. What is wrong to remember some old songs, some old incidents, and talk about death and its aftermath, i like to be ready in anything.
yes i did not know i was interacting with ladies here on Indus.
Heaven with swimming pools filled with scotch eh ! HAHAHAHA
this is the first time i am hearing something like that, so thanks for thinking nice about me.
and thank u for the kind words. im touched.Happy Diwali to u and yr husand and yr lovely twin sons.God bless u all.

Don't have any comments on your blog, since it is candid, honest and sans pretences. As for you, it has always been an honour to know you and your thoughts. And this blog just reinforces that sentiment.
I too hope you will go to a heaven swarming with all things you love and enjoy. And till then, a person like you- he creates heaven for himself and his, where he lives, when he lives.
Happy Diwali! | Dear Vidya,
long time no see. Thanks for the visit and the good words.
Well i agree with u on the second part, that i am happy wherever and whenever, and try to spread cheer all around.where is the reason to be gloomy and spoil others moods too.
Thanks dear, hope everything fine with u an family. You here or abroad now ?
Take care, and a very happy Diwali to you and yr family.

Hi Harsha,
( Kamalji, this one is for Harsha....)
Kamalji tells us that you are offended by this post of his... or is it the response it has evoked? Well.... we all know you are not after his money... For him you, his mom and his daughters are are before money...and not after...
I don't know about the peg of scotch ( imported) and the chicken-shicken you have been preparing for him...That may be before you... I feel you really landed a lottery in him... so don't worry about the money... enjoy looooooooooooooooooooong years of togetherness with him...and God bless you both.
Happy Diwali...( did the pandit come home for Lakshmi puja? In that case you would have had to lock Kamalji in a room while he was there... We all know about the ' no love lost' between him and pandits.)
Regards

My dear, dear Kamal,
You have sought revenge on me. You have done tit for tat. You have extracted a tooth for a tooth and an eye for an eye.
Yes, I remember your writing in my serial A Love Story that I made you cry and sob with my story. And today you have nicely taken a revenge. You made me cry. I made you cry with fictional characters and you made me cry with the most real you.
Honestly Kamal, I love the way you bared your heart to your dear wife. In fact that should be the real attitude. I especially like the part regarding keeping off the pandas and pundits off bounds. They are likely only to harm our souls.
I love you more for you have let your wife remarry. There may be a million practical considerations against it. But I love that kind of spirit in you.
I loved reading your blog. I have read so many writings that talk about glimpses of immortality. But this one talks about the glimpses of mortality. And it is quite authentic and is not from your head but from your heart - a soft substance made of 24 karat gold.
All of us, from the one year old to the 95 year old, have come to this world with confirmed return tickets. The date of journey on the ticket is written in invisible ink. And is written in indelible ink too. Simply because we cry, sob, plead and beg, Death is not going to delay the departure of the train even by a millisecond. If that's the case why not enjoy the journey.
love,
sridhar

sridhar | Dear Sri,
What can i say to u, but that i am very touched by your reply.thank u so much.
Just right now i have come back from the death of the mother of my dear childhood friend.whole day i was there.
And who should the pandit turn out to be , than the one who conducted the marriage of my daughter 4 years back.Strange life it is , is it not Sri ?
And tomm i will post a blog on this anomoly, where u will have a death and amarriage, and a brith all rolled in one.
and what i heard about doctors today, most are worse than butchers.Sad really.
What u said about the departure date written with invisible ink is so true.u too observe life a lot Sri !
This was written specifically for my wife harsha. What i could not tell her, i wrote down, so she knows what i would like after death, not to trouble herself, and for her to keep smiling and be cheerful as i have been all my life.
thank u Sri, for the wonderful words, coming from u, they are a great compliment.
thank you, thank u , thank u.
Regards
kamal
