Default truly a wonderful piece

dear oviya
though i'm not a tamilian, but the way u wrote even i could connect to the whole thing. moreover it brought back nostalgic feelings...i could see myself sitting in my nani's-maternal granny_ house reading through 'chanda mama' in hindi. she used to get it regularily so i would not buy it as i could read it there. after namaskaars i would rush to read it.
my love for the comics was so much that i'd forget that i have someone sitting around. on one of my visits to my dadi_paternal granny_ i took some of them along as i went alone , she would laugh ..look at this girl laughing all alone. one magzine in hindi which is no longer there was 'dharmyug'-like viketan i remember this one with fondness...actually for the ones who love reading ,no place is boring .they r never alone and solitude is also bliss.

Default Re: From Agastya Maharishi to Anandha Vikatan...

Dear Muzna,

Thanks a lot....

You have a very appropriate Avatar. Very Beautiful. Takes a trip to Kashmir. It keeps reminding me of the word 'Pahadon' instead of the first possible usage from Tamil or the next one from English. May be because your place belongs to North India and so bringing out Hindi .

It gave me immense pleasure to know your nostalgic memories about chandamama. Ofcourse, books are of that nature, reading which and listening someone talking about, make us feel as if we are in heaven.
