Hi to my B.Fs in IL

Please don't jump to conclusions that I have B.Fs (Boy Friends) in the normal meaning. By B.F I mean Best Friend. In the short time since I registered in IL I have made a few friends and some have become my B.Fs. Top in the list...... Can you take a guess? Yes, it is A.C madam. For a newcomer her support and encouragement is incredible. I should say my list of B.Fs is short at present, but I am sure it is bound to grow.

Coming to the normal meaning of B.F, honestly I never had any since I studied in all girls' school and college. In our days, boys were not allowed to look at girls and even if they look at them normally it was considered as staring which was a blasphemy. BTW, I remembered a humourous incident about staring. One girl complained to her father that the neighbour boy is staring at her. Father was surprised since there were no windows facing the neighbour and he had raised the partition wall in the backyard also. The girl took her father to the backyard, brought a ladder and climbing on top she said 'look father the boy is staring at me'.

I can't call my hubby as my B.F in any meaning since he was already at the time of marriage not a boy and we are just friends. He is so busy with work and has very little time to become my B.F.

Nowadays, I have a B.F meaning boy friend. Again please don't jump to conclusions. The B.F is none other than my own son. He is my friend and he is a boy. We discuss about movies and recently we had a very heated argument about Kamala Haasan's Dasavatharam, he being an ardent fan and calling him as 'Thalaivar' (chief) or simply 'thala'. I lerned about cricket through him and today I am also a cricket maniac. He cracks timely jokes and I appreciate that. My parents are originally from Tamil Nadu and later had migrated to Karnataka. Once when we were having dinner I just asked them out of curiosity ' You belong to Tamil Nadu or Karnataka?". My son said 'They are sutha (pure) karnadakam'. Karnadakam is referred to people being old-fashioned and so we all had a hearty laugh.

Will you become my B.F in IL?

Can you take me as your BF? I have been reading all your writings and have responded, the problems arises when you post it in tamil as I cannot read tamil fluently and I need lot of time to read the same which at present I do not have. Hence it not respond to your tamil writings. Excuse me for that.

Yes I agree with you kids are the perfect BFs.......my younger daughter is my BF but I do have a host of others here in IL and outside tooooo. Maybe God has been great in giving so many BFs to me. I just bow down to him.
