Dear Mindi,

Excellent story, and since it is true, all the more interesting. You sure patched up a lot of things.Great.

And yes the world is a very small place.Look at Bhiku Mhatre, he has found hundreds of long lost sisters in Indus.HAHA.Isnt that strange ?

Dear,

Surprises do occur. You must have been thrilled to meet anoher person from Palghat. We don't know whre we are ordained to meet people and in waht way.

My maternal uncle was in Kuwait for some years back. Once he was about to return to Indai after losing the job. A day before he could leave the place he met one of his acquaintances. With much remorse he told the acquaintance he will be in Mumbai for sometime. The very mention of Mumbai made the Mumbaikar(Acquaintance) nostalgic and all the more when he was told my mother is teacher teaching at Matunga. He asked my uncle the name of the teacher. It seems the moment he heard my mother's name he got up forgetting he is in Kuwait.( This is joke todate. As a student he was scared of my mother out of respect). Then told my uncle that under no circumstance leave Kuwait and he must accept the hospitality till my uncle gets a new jod. A job was also assured by the person.
My uncle till now remembers how he met my mother's student and how the sister's name played miracle. That's life!. kanaka

Hi Mindi,

The old saying, "Hearts Earnest Desire Always Comes True", is gelling well here. Well, I was looking for a small twist in the story, your DH feeling 'J' about your friendliness .

You have earned brownie points for bringing two families together.

The world is indeed small.

Yes, life is full of surprises. Some of them are unpleasant, but a great many very, very pleasant. It is really nice to know that you got two persons back into contact. And I hope the contact continues even now.
