Yor are right that no one from the top has come to attend his funeral. I dont understand what other important task has kept our defence minister busy rather than paying tribute to the very man who stood for defence. Yes, i have read that Sam Bahadur used to stand upright when needed. Even the then PM was also insecure in his presence because he was the man who held the limelight.Thanks for sharing your feelings.

We have the same feeling. "Day and night anything we do is to increase our channel's TRPs" , this seems to be the current motive of TV channels, the result is we get to watch only the spicy things being repeatedly telecasted. to these channels surely for one thing, what a competitive spirit, S tv started reality show, so me too one. J tv started show gold show, so me too one.No original ideas at all,in such a creative field.I have learnt that people who are into the fields of jounism & media related, have very good job prospects today. Each channel is trying to hire experienced reporters by paying good packages.
I think reality show hosts should ask questions related to real heros, pre & post independence events, history & all.
