Most interesting reading. Just the optimum quantum of humour. I enjoyed your use of the name 'V. Purusha' thoroughly and found this the best part of the tale. I have always enjoyed such usages -- like M. Deva for Mahadeva and so on. Delightful reading and the moral it would seem is that the government is not all that bad. Not only does it protect you from incurring VP's displeasure, it even makes you earn a rent. I know it is taxable. The HR allowance and tax is what you lose and the rent is what you gain. If you are efficient, or at least if V. Purusha is not engaged in machinations, then you end up a net gainer. Nostra appears to have brought you good luck. Right?

Mr. Balajee,

Today I got to read this thread of yours. I am bit nervous to read about predictions and vaasthu kind of things. I postponed reading this thread because of this fear as your title too carried the name Nostradamus. But after it was declared as the FP, I made my mind to read it. I felt very light throughout reading and had a good laughter. Keep posting such.

Yeah Ojantrik, the house tax has gone up since I have rented out my house and LOH's house rent allowance has been cut. Still I am the gainer.

It is not for prediction on Vaastu alone, the fear is for general predictions too.

Balajee : Good one, you are lucky to have got out with minimal damanges, some people change their whole house and spend hundreds and thousands.

This is no joke - I know one guy who changed the direction of his toilet seat because he was always constipated and the vastu expert said it was due to the toilet seat in the wrong direction.

I talked to one guy and he said my wife and I are opposites so we need to sleep in different direction and different rooms, I asked him if I can sleep with a different wife and I slept alone on the couch for the whole week.
