| Dear Santhosh, you have written something very natural and very true/very real. It is common in girls or for that matter boys from restricted upbringing to wonder and explore something, that others of their own age usually don't. I know many of my relatives (from very orthodox brahmin families) getting into love marriages, inter caste marriages etc. You have given a positive turn and a positive light to the girl in the story and in between the family, the parents usually cool down quickly and make up. But for outsiders, often it is a chance to ridicule the whole family. There is a saying in Telangana Telugu "Bhayam kalla Kodi, Bazzarulo Guddu Pettindhata" (A scared hen, had laid an egg in the public!). I heard many poeple use it when girls/boys from a orothodox and traditional families do things like going out of their community for love or marriage etc. But a very positive story with the best narration. I enjoyed it thoroughly.

| Hi Uncannybal.. Good story..Few questions popped when I finished reading.. 1. Why Lakshmi did not take a bold attempt in relocating to another place and work? She suddenly got courage to elope and marry.. how? 2. What is the fault of her parents other than being strict? 3. Her SIL turned to be a selfish woman....How will the story take its turn if she is a good lady and give money to her FIL..? 4. Is eloping and ditching parents for sake of marriage is the only solution for conservative girls..? Hope you can answer them.. Expecting more articles form you. |

| Hi Uncannybal, Just now read both the parts. Very well narrated. Even these days i think we can see such conservative families around us. But happy to read the positive ending. Expecting many more stories. Cheers, Lakshmi. |
