Dear Santhosh,
A very good story and the theme behind it is appreciated.
One thing i wanted to emphasize is that it conservativeness does not happen only with upper caste or brahmins as you have mentioned - though you have taken it up for your story line which is quite okay and understandable. I have had friends from many castes and religions too whose parents were more conservative and got them married even before they finished their 2nd year college fearing that their children would fall in love.

Anyways, coming to your story, i'm compelled to write with a heavy heart that today morning one of my distant relatives daughter had hanged herself to death due to marriage issues. She was often compared with me for she had an arranged wedding& was married off in pomp and style. She is of my age and its totally hard to beleive that she took this decision. The point is Good or bad person as you have said can be from any caste or creed.. doesnt matter.. Not always the arranged weddings are a success and love marriages are a failure.

Enjoyed your story. Keep them coming.

Dear Santosh,

Read both the parts in one go. Beautiful narration. I just could not take it as a story.......... I hope it is a page from your personal life.

Congrats for the addition in the family. I agree when one is brought so strictly and conservatively, they will dying to explore new avenues and sometimes the whole exercise gets goofed up but in your case All's well that ends well. Liked your style very much.

Dear dear uncannybal,
What shall I say?You have produced a marvellous piece of work.Agreat message told in a simple, straight forward manner.I feel happy for the heroine of the story and I have also fallen in love with suresh,my dear, the world needs more men like him.I hope more and more parents who still believe in caste and creed read this thread.
I simply loved the story and the way you have written it.
love

Dear Mr. Uncannybal ( Mr. Suresh? or Mr. Santhosh ?)

A wonderful simple story, which I have read after a very long time. Is it your own Biography? Pardon me, after reading your public profile, I am confused- Hope you clarify.

Thanks and I expect your good writing often in this ILite Blogs.
Best regards
Vinoran
