Sunkan, Kuachipudi is already in the Guinness tks to one Sarala Kumari who set a record for dancing for god knows how many hours.Do these artists plan to dance for days at one go or something or do they want to set the record by sheer numbers?

Pavithra, I dont think even a diehard fan of Bollywood would sit through 120 hours of movies unless he wants a few hours of fame. On the other hand even a person who dislikes movies may take it up as a challenge and suffer the torment!

This is so true Balajee!
More often than not, I find myself reading about one or the other Indian performing a feat to get into the Guiness Book of Records. Going by the rate of it, I think we Indians must be occupying a prominent place in that book!
Even I wonder what these record breakers do when they have to answer nature's call during one of their stints...hmm...Not sure I really want to know!
As for Ashish and Indian films...one deserves what one gets...It was his decision, after all.
But as for the German pics being any better, no no sir, no way. Have been subjected to enough of them...lived some long years there you see! For all their high brow stuff..a 120 hrs of it will surely turn you into a nutcase, that is, assuming you are not already one for indulging in such self destructive acrobats in the first place!
Atleast, with DDLJ and the likes (dilwale dulhaniyan le jayenge...in case you are not aware!), you come out a little disturbed and singing!

Keep going Balajee, I would any day read your blogs for 120 hrs than watch movies...German or Indian or English!

L, Kamla

Dear Kamla,

I have told Balajee, that i will help u create a Guiness Record. You blog for 120 hours, and i will keep him company, drinking and keeping an eye on him.So i too will make it to Guiness too, for drinking and he for blogging.

that is what is called killing two birds with one stone.

And Kamla, like u , even i can read Balajees blogs for 120 hours at a stretch but i cant watch those stupid movies for 3 hours really.

C'mon Kamla, German films are not that bad though I wouldn't sit through them for 120 hours. I am a fan of a whole lot of German filmmakers ranging from Fritz Lang to Rainer Werner Fassbinder.

Cockroaches?Guys have done worse things than that! They have lived in cages with snakes for days to get into the Guinness Book! In a TV show on the Guinness records, I saw a guy set a new record of kissing venemous snakes including a king Cobra on the head! The line between bravery and going ers is getting repeatedly breached!
