Thankyou very much for reading this and writing here.. Yes.i know that no father is going to read this here... :)

Mothers have great responsiblity in correcting a father and also try her best to change his attitude and make him spend some time with family...before the child corrects the father... :)

He had his own aspirations and goals….He dedicated himself in his work..and also he had conceptual thought of starting his own organization in near by future…

Nethra was matured enough to understand Karthik.. so she didn’t expect Karthik to shower love on her or take her out in weekends…. She controlled all her desires… But the only problem was she struggled a lot with her son..who always miss his father..even in needy times… He also talked about this to Karthik.. but he never took that seriously.. he said he is too small boy..He will not have these kind of sentiments..Nethra stopped talking to him about this after that…

She tried in all ways to make her son understand…. Or she took him out where he was happy…. Even Karthik knew that he doesn’t have time to spend with his family…But his goals in life pushed the desire backwards..and he thought not to be too sentimental… And he convinced himself that Nethra was there for Gautham… She will take care of everything…. But one thing he had in practice daily was that he bought a small twin biscuit pack of strawberry flavour ..which his son loves to eat … he comes home late night .. so he goes to bed ...but before leaving to his office in the morinig ..he goes to his son’s room.. kiss him and keeps the Biscuit near him and then leave….This was the only thing he was doing without fail for many days..
But he didn’t knew that he is missing a beautiful phase of his life that will never return to him in Future…..


Gautham terribly missed his Dad… He wants his Dad to chat with him, to sit and eat with him.. wants him to take to park, Swimming pool and sometimes play football with him… Like his friends Dad he wants to go Cycling with him…. He always asks his mother .."Why Amma Dad is always busy with his Work.. when will he do all this for me…. ??? It was all embarrassing moments for Nethra… to console.. she was searching words to answer her son…. Since Karthik was occupied even in weekends by the works of setting his own organisation… he couldn’t find time to spend with them even in weekends….


One fine day… Gautham went to visit his Grandparents with his Mom..to get blessings for his B’day which was falling the next day.. Karthik came back home as usual late …. He peeped into his son’s room with a costly present in his hand .. and really felt he missed him.. seeing the bare bed… He thought of giving his son a surprise ..Atleast make him happy on his B’day…. He opened his cupboard to keep the wrapped presentation…. He felt something strange in the bottom of the cupboard..in the corner of the last shelf…. He had an intuition… he bent down to picked the transparent box …


He was shocked seeing the box.. he opened the box with trembling hands…. He couldn’t believe his eyes. their he saw the packets of biscuits which he gave (left ) to his son daily before he leaves office….… he was confused why didn’t he eat all these … ? that too seeing the quantity he thought .. he never ever ate atleast one …

He again bent down and searched if he could find something else… he saw some paintings and some papers of Gautham's drawing…. Seeing all that he was more scandalized… All the papers carried the same words along with drawings ..Gautham..with his small fingers..had scribbled.. I MISS YOU DADDY….. I LOVE YOU DADDY… I NEED YOU DADDY...


Karthik was fully now in tears…. He understood how much his son missed him these days….. He thought that his son would be happy every morning and the whole day if he sees the biscuit given by him.. but he was wrong.. Gautham needed his Dad physically than any thing else in this world….He knew that Nethra didn’t notice this in the cupboard because it was the maid who cleans the room… Karthik.. kept everything inside the cupboard. including the present and returned to the living room… Phone was ringing…. It was Nethra.. “I ‘ll be late dear.. you please take dinner and sleep…” She said….” Karthik told…”Its ok dear.. I’ll wait for you and Gautham.. we ‘ll take dinner together..” Nethra couldn’t belive her ears.. She was elated hearing this from karthik… Karthik hanged the phone and went outside….

He went to the shop bought the Strawberry Flavored Biscuit and came home… He was waiting for his Son…. with the biscuit in his hands and with a guilty heart....Not only that day … He found time to spend with his beloved son thereafter .. He changed himself from that day and realized the values of the love and affection that his darling wife and loving son needs .
His son taught him a lesson.. A lesson of LOVE and AFFECTION....

Dear Father's .. Money is Essential for Life...
But Dont MISS Beautiful things in your Life.... in the SEARCH of Money

Wow..Wow..Mindian..it was so wonderful reading your FB... For Every Kid DAD is very important..though Mom will do all things for her/him.. Their are certain things in life where the kids loves her DAD to do those for her/him..

Excellent story.... It made me feel very emotional. Very true. Money is not everything. It's only the growing years of the kids. They need their parents time. These growing years are so enjoyable. It's incomparable !!
I really appreciate my Husband. He somehow makes time for our daughter. If he is busy one day and comes home late.. he would see to it that he comes home early the next day.. or he would ask me to give her dinner and keep his dinner ready so that he can put her to sleep and spend quality time with her.

Kids nowadys hardly spend time with their Busy Dad's... They manange to spend sometime only in weekends...

Like you DH even my DH makes sure that he spents quality time with our DD...weekdays its pretty tough for him..spends only little time but weekends all hrs for her :)
