Dear jaishree,
Thank you for your fb.
Making friends with others is an art.Similarly to be comfortable in a get together where you may not know many is also an art that is not everybody's cup of tea.
Iam happy you liked the story.

Dear Kamalji,
I can visualise you in a party. You will be the liveliest wire of any party.Don't keep quiet, the parties will lose their charm. But look out for shy, introverts like me and help them come out of their shells.
You will be helping them.
Thank you for that kind reply, these words only keep me sitting on the computer late into the nights.

Dear MK,

I'm awestruck with your narration. Kudos to your style and memory that does not forget ot coordinate small players like the milk man, maid..i picturised the whole story, infact I have a imagined a face for you too!!..

I felt this story is just a reflection of what I exactly want to do..and living in a fast paced atmosphere, I need to gather the will power to " Please myself" rather than please others..

waiting for your next one soon..

dear mithila,
very nice post!!!!
one of my neighbour in chennai ofcoz my elderly friend when we use to gather in the morning on our house front to put kolam use to always tell me that doing kolam is meditation.and that is very true.it helps increasing our creativity as well.
our forefather's definitely had a meaning behind doing the regular chores of the house as well.
regards
pavi

My dear pavi,
You are absolutely right. There surely was meaning in their way of living. They used to draw water from the wells, wash clothes in the washing stone which was invariably near the well, used to bring water from the river. In srirangam my dear there are people who would take bath in the kaveri every day.Once I had been to srirangam ,all the ladies went to kaveri to take bath, there are separate places for the gents and ladies to take bath.Initially I was uncomfortable, after ten minutes I began to enjoy the un of taking bath in the running water and I had no heart to come out of the water.
They observed fasts went to the temples regularly. If the astrologer suggested,"go to murugan temple and do 108 prathakshanam for 48 days",to remove the ill effects of any particular thing it had meaning. When you walk so much every day for 48 days no doubt all your illnesses will take leave of you.
Thank you for stepping in Pavi and your woderful words of kindness.
love

My dear shilpa,
Thanks dear for that great FB.When I think of a story, the story has to take place in my mind like a cinema.Once all the pieces fall in place then I have to put them down as a story.I enjoy living in my world where things happen according to my desires. It is a wonderful world.Sometimes people like your creations sometimes they don't.
Iam grateful to all of you ilites for giving me the encouragement to delve deep into my world to cereate characters of my choice.
Thanks dear for your compliment.Iam sure that I look like aishwarya rai in your imagination.

Dear Mithila,

An excellent narration ! You have connected the dots with full concentration and focus to draw a beautiful "Kolam" (story) here !

I can completely empathize with you during the parties..same thing happens to me..but nowadays, I've stopped worrying about that and just be myself.

As for sitting down for meditation/saying shlokas...lots of interruptions and distractions.

But now, after reading this, yes, any job done with full concentration is indeed a form of meditation !!

Regards
Krithika
