Dear Devika,

A wonderful story, with a superb moral.Just loved it.

You know before my daughters were born, i went to Govindevji Temple in Jaipur( Radha and Krishna), and asked God for daughters both times, and i was blessed with them, Radhika who is now married, and Sita who is 21 now.And i have never desired a son, as i did not have the wish to be dependent on a son in my old age.I and wife can manage on our own, thank u.

As they say

A Son is a Son, till he Gets a Wife
A daugther is a daughter for all her Life.

And my daughters are our Sons.Great blog.Regards.kamal

Dear Mindi,

Thankyou fot your lovely FB, Glad you liked the story. And a million thanks for the wonderful words. Theyve made my day!!
Yes indeed it requires a great heart to adopt and specially a challenged person.

A little extra warmth that is a pleasure to give, is all that required to bring out the best.
Glad you liked the concept .

Dear Sunkan,

Glad to have you here!
Nobody is disabled only differently abled and i guess differently abled people use their ability to the fullest than the so called fully abled people.
Like I have mentioned before I have seen some wonderful differently abled people from different walks of life winning accolades for their magnificience in various capacities.
This subject is very close to heart.

Love,
Devika

Thankyou so much Sweetie for stepping in ga.
Glad you liked the story and the name!!
So many wonderful acheivers here. Cant take names because I wouldnt want to miss anyone and the list is endless. Its so lovely to see their achievements.
But i must mention here, as a kid I was struck with wonder at the marvelous way Stevie Wonder composed and sang.Ooohhhh Il never forget it.From then Ive been wanting to pen something. This comes close i guess.
Its a moment of pride to think about those numerous acheivers!

Love,
Devika

DM,

You have done it again. A beautiful story with a message.

A person is not disabled until he is disabled in his mind. he is only differently abled, and given the best love and opportunity they prove it so well.

Great going buddy...

Dear L Chechi,

As usual those words of yours are a great motivator! I am glad you liked the story.
Yes I have seen that there are many times when a potentially qualified person doesnt tap his capabilities to the maximum and then blames fate for everything. When we see the wonders that the challenged people have done , it strikes us as to how we absolutely waste our potential.

Love,
Devikutty

A heartwarming story , beautifully narrated,an enjoyable read till the very end.

Dear Lalitha,

Wow , now you have me finger tied. I dont know dear how to thankyou for all these lovely words of appreciation. I am so glad you liked the story.
We have an adopted kid in the family and believe me shes our darling. Infact we are so happy and feel blessed to have her in our midst.
Well yes but circumstances do count. I guess even though you couldnt adopt,i can see you have a lot of love for them and it would surely reach them.

Accept my on the net Lalitha .And thanks a million for the FP.Your words have already crowned me though.
Love,
Devika

It was very touching. I always felt that we should adopt a child but things do not happen the way we want. But I am happy if at all I had gone ahead with my desire I know the child would have been the worst sufferer. Hence God saw to that it never materialised.

This is an awesome piece. Accept my on net.

Nominated this for FP also.
