How does your DH/Family feel .....

In our home, we are myself, husband, 6yrs old son and my mother. My mother thinks i'm wasting time on computer ! My son is too small and cannot understand.
My husband is in some other sites like Facebook, Mayyam and Shelfari. So he can understand how nice it is to have friends without faces !!!!!
But after asking name of this site, he is thinking i am discussing only recipes, dress and cinema !

We are not usually talking about our internet friends.

Me too sailing in the same boat like you ... My Hubby doesn't know anything about IL and not interested also .. even if I share anything he doesn't lend his ears ... He always thinks, I am sitting infront of PC and wasting my time ... ...

Hi Brindha,

Yes my DH does know that whenever i am on the PC one window is open for IL...so that i can take a sneak peek when ever i have time.

He has a hectic schedule...so don't get much chance to share IL with him. But he is ok...as one of our friend has pointed out...he says be careful as this is a public website. He being wary is the usual pros n cons of technology about which he is right too in his own way.

Yes..DH knows that I write here. He is and has been my proof-reader sometimes - even from before I came to know about IL. Sometimes he just looks for my response in an interesting thread and many a time he browses ‘Spirituality and Religion. I caught him many times reading ‘Chitvish’s Threads on Spirituality. He also browses ‘working women’ etc. And if we didn’t talk in few days about IL, he wonders “what’s going on in IL these days?” He takes my daughter out into backyard if she disturbs me with her numerous attempts to snatch my laptop for her “Me and My mommy” game or any “Youtube” kids videos.
