For which one you spend more now ?

Dear Friends,

We meet expenses in our life on day to day ... sometimes, we meet some kind of expenses during monthly or may be yearly too ... For which one do you all expense alot ... On my side, we are expensing more on our House at present ... As, we have entered just to a newly constructed house, we keep spending money on Painting, Tiles, Carpet, Lights, Show-case, Furniture, etc... Likewise, I would like to know that How about you all ... Do you expense more on any of these following and which is the one you spend on most at present ... ?

1. Medical (Medicines, Medical Treatment)
2. Grocery (Vegetable, Spices, Fruits, etc..)
3. Personal (Garments, Cosmetics, etc...)
4. Electronic Items
5. House Decoration
6. Funds, Shares, etc ...
7. Donation, Ashram, Orphange, etc...
8. Misc. if any pls. mention friends ...

I have to take two titles......Yes...I spend tooo much on costumes and cosmetics ....very often i get those things.i will never ever get bored of such things.........iam very crazy in buying those junks.........

And, my hubby ardent fan of Electronic goods...........and he spend tooooooooo much in that.....

More on groceries which is a must. Once in a while for garments/ medicines and other accessories.

I used to pick some show pieces if i feel its nice / unique. Electronic items only if the need arises and not for fancy.

Donation to ashram / orphanage during important events of our life like b'days and anniversaries.

We spend a little amount on books every month. Comics, fiction, story books, informative books & coloring books, either or all of these. We never give a second thought when it comes to buying books.

As all the things you have mentioned is essential but we spend more ong grocery, electronic items, clothing and buying properties, I am very fond of buying property and i have put that habit to my DH too........
It is a type of investment which will be helpful anytime. We spend a small amount on orphange. books, cosmetics( every ladies need)

Having lived in the Middle East for a few years, I have compiled the below table regarding the % share of various expenses .As per my calculations if income is 100 units, expenses will be 105 units, thus resulting in a massive savings of -5 percent !

Good thread. Set me thinking on how much do i spend where...and do i really save anything by the end of the day or not.
