Default A DAWN After Dreadful Destiny……

A Dawn After Dreadful Destiny…

It was 5 in the morning.. Kayalvizhi... woke up without Alarm....It was a consistent act for the past 15 years..She had a quick shower .. did her poojas.. and started her work for the day......She stepped out for kolam….. The sky was still dark....waiting for the sunrise....

Her family was a big one..her PIL her two daughters, and two SIL carrying their studies in Correspondence.....She was nearing forty but she was the only active person to take care of everybody in the home....But she was not depleted for any of the chore from morning till night..She thought that the Home was her Gross Globe....She was not conscious of the challenging world outside and also don’t want to know about that .. She didn’t know at that time the world was waiting for her step very soon.........

Her Husband was the only bread winner of the family..... So he worked very hard.. .Her Husband and his family was everything for Kayal...though she some jarring issues with her inlaws… she worked a lot with patience to satisfy their needs....She kept silent ..whenever they raised issues.. ..she had the attitude that she cannot change anything in her life….

One day.. Kayal's hubby left from home to his work place.. without knowing ..that it was his Last day... The phone brought the Fatal News after one hour....It was a blood curdling Accident.... .

Kayal was utterly startled..She felt her life mere vacuum...She was pathetic to face the life...She was vey Anxious about her forth coming days.. She hugged her daughters and cried with trembling mind and body...

Hardly few days after the death of her Husband. Her SIL took a small job of low income for that time....One day she was called by her inlaws. Kayal stared them with dried eyes...Her FIL said..."You leave this house as soon as possible....We cant Afford you and your kids...
Our Son is no more.. We dont want you any more..

The 15 yrs journey of stess and struggle for that family flashed in her mind bringing more tears.. The broken heart shattered into few more pieces hearing this.... She Pleaded them.. but she couldnt find even one Philanthropic soul in that home..

Kayal moved to her father's home with her daughters... Even though he cannot capitaize her ... she found some tangential hands....

Kayal was sitting in the backyard.. staring at the pouring rain .with painful merged emotions.. she .was thinking about the Atroicious and abrupt behaviour of the inlaws...She had a jerk in her body thinking about the terrific days and future of her Daughters.....

She saw her elder daughter coming towards her..She sat beside Kayal …She holded her mother’s hand and said...... “Amma don’t worry…We are always with you .. I ll find a job Amma…. Let sister study......ill put an end to my studies... I will take care of you and Sister.".. She said . with tearing eyes......

Tears rolled down Kayal Cheeks..She hugged her daughter and said…..." . No dear... You also Have to study.... I understand .. how Important is education for a Girl... If I was well educated and if i had a job .. I would have not definetly..be dejected in this way…..I understand very well that education is proponent in a girls life…..

So now my only ambition in Life is to give both of you GOOD EDUCATION....... Which I dint get completely….
You must not go through any of the difficulties which i faced in my life.... I have Decided What to do…. She kissed her daughter and went inside the house.... She dusted her Trunk box.... She took her Mangy, Faded Marksheet of her Tenth standard....wrapped inside a old Polythenne cover... She peeped through the window.. the rain stopped pouring…...

She came out of the home.... She looked at the Big Blue sky….After the rain it seemed to be very clear than ever before…. like her mind..and soul... It looked very different for her today....As She felt inside her at that moment….

She walked towards the bank ..She put her steps very carefully ..not to skit herself in the damp road but with full of Confidence…. She not only stepped in the road… but also in her life with great determination.. and Faith… She is now dare enough to meet the Challenging world..
........
It was A NEW DAWN for her after a DREADFUL DESTINY….

Surely there is a Dawn even after a dreadful Destiny…….

God Bless !!

With love
Brindha...

Dear Brindaji,

A very touching story. A story that mirrors the harsh reality of widows who are seen as a burden. had this same lady been working, she would have been looked after as a goose that lays the golden eggs.

Shows how important education is in life. Kayalvizhi understood this & so made it as her life's goal to educate her daughters.

Hats off to women like Kayalvizhi who rise like a Phoenix from their ashes.

Regards,

Corallux

Dear Corollux Mam...

Im very happy to get the first feedback immediately from you...
Kayal is not imaginary charachter..... She is a well know person to me..... I thought to pen about her in IL..just to pay tribute to her determination and confidence... Not so well educated..but still.. the confidence she built up in her after the death of her husband was amazing ....

Thankyou very much for reading and writing a feedback...

Dear Brindha,

That was very narrative. it reminded me of my mother .....she would been in the same state when our father passed away , we were quite young then.....she had the courage to handle things at ease to bring up ........

A silent tribute i should say........Good One .........dear keep it up

Hi Brinda,

"Kayal". That's a nice name. Kayal is lucky enough to have you as her friend. For many people money is the main criteria. isn't there any importance to human beings and their feelings. In fact kayal should thank god for giving her an opportunity to understand about the people around her.

Hereafter its always happiness for kayal and her daughters. All the best wishes to your so call Kayal.
