| Dear Brindha, That was such a sweet short story. Though i guess its very common to use the elders things for the younger one its not necessarily a sign of underestimation of the younger kid. Maybe just economically convenient but this happens everywhere. Even from being a new born to a teen very often use the seconds of the elder sibling. I think it was really sweet of Thara, Such a wonderful gesture. Nicely written Brindha,Enjoyed reading it.(Would it be ok to say that of the 5 things i cannot do without is a Brindha story everyday?) Love, Devika

| Dear Brinda, such a touching story, I liked it really. I wish that all younger sisters had such an elder sister. Well, I am the second daughter but my akka is 11 years my senior. So there was not even hand me downs for me. Good story! |

| Dear Brindha, That was a good story, short and sweet too!!! Really very cute of Thara to have understood what Devi felt.

| Hi Brindha, This is the first time I'm reading your article. It was really a touching eye opener. While the parents don't show partiality among their children, each one is as special as the other one is, but , when we see from the child's eyes, it does differ. Thara is really a sweet elder sister. She understood her sis better than anyone. I'm sure the bonding between siblings would become very strong , when such unspoken feelings are taken care like this.... I'll surely read your other articles ![]()
