FIVE things you cannot live Without..!!

Dear all

Most of the items listed under things you cannot live without have been physical objects or persons with whom emotional bonds are shared, like children or family members. These choices , while being honest, are an apt reflection of the materialistic world we live in , in the former case and our need for self- esteem, in the latter case.

While thinking of this subject on a slightly larger scale, I was reminded of the tenets of a famous Guru and would list the five basic " things" that humanity
cannot afford to live without :
Dharma
Shanti
Prema
Satya
Ahimsa

hi all,

apart from my dear ones(my hubby, kid,my pa, and everyone in my family)

the other 5 things are

swami room (atleast a shelf)
fan
friends
music,phone and internet
curd rice,

I cannot live without
1. Family
2. Friends
3 Rice
4.Phone
5. Internet

1) Mobile
2) Fish
3) Blogging, here and at another site
4) Newspapers/Reading
5) Friends( have many of them, of course males )

Yr encouragement is appreciated. I do have a tendency to
analyse and try to divide my observations into distinct categories.

While I was going through what the other ladies were identifying as their most critical requirements , I observed that some were actual material requirements, while others needed emotional bonds, while yet others were interested in social esteem and networking .

Conspicuous by its absence was what I term as “Values". Hence I decided to bring this to the attention of the readers. However I claim no originality for these five excellent values that were listed in my earlier post, they represent the path shown by a Guru of extraordinary calibre. My intellect is too feeble and I am spiritually not advanced enough to either generate or propagate such noble thoughts convincingly.

In case you have read my recent FB on another thread entitled “Favourite superstitions” you will observe my old weakness of analysis being displayed again there also!

I can come up with only 3 things at the moment..

-mobile phone
-internet
-finger rings

Will have to dig a li'l deeper to see what else can be added..

(hey!! there is a cute dancing banana, a queen and even an icon for drowning-but none to show 'thinking'...no fair!)
