Default Re: How will you react?

Dear PS,

This is a common thing which happens in all express trains... People who travel in the locals for long distance on a regular basis think that they have the license to get into any train and sit anywhere... They are not bothered about the reservation and all... When I was working in India, I used to travel to Delhi by train... Once it touches andhra... people will start getting into the train and sit everywhere... The worst part is they will wake you and then make you also to sit... This will continue till Warrangal... The isssue is they are going to the Office... Especially, if they are railway employees... then it is finished... They think it is their own grand fathers property...

What you did is right... But in todays world... even if a murder take place next to you, people will not come to help.. they will stand watch or runaway... They have got so immuned to the system...

Dear Mr Vysan,
You are 100% correct. Not only in Andhra, even in Bihar and Orissa people used to get into the reservation compartment and harass people. Even if we approach the TTE there was no use.
Regarding peoples' empathy, what you say is true. Even yesterday I read in news paper that a retired RBI employee was grievously injured at Madurai station and no one helped him and he was lying bleeding until the railway people arranged for an ambulance from a private hospital quite late. This is the sorry situation. Thanks for your FB,
Love,
PS
