| A very sensitive piece Mithila, Mothers are very enigmatic at times. When you feel you know them in full, they spring a surprise. Your mom reminds me of my Granny. She was in the same position. The way she handled all the affairs after grandpa's death would put any MBA degree holder to shame. They I believe Mithila are the true "Women of Substance" Regards, Corallux

| Dear M Mami, A very beautiful tribute to your mother. Now I know the secret behind this women's strength. Losing a parent at such tender age and the way your mom handled the situation. It is just remarkable. These women are the real women of strength. One request, as I am learning to read tamil (thanks to varalotti for making me do that) would request you to kindly scan your tamil stories and post it here for all the ILs here. It would be really a treat ! Hoping to see more of you.

| Dear Mithila, You left me sobbing, but for good.Dad dying on sashtiabtha poorthi dias and mom becoming a rolemodel. You have seen a yore of events happening in place. My salute to that brave lady, who made hay without a sunshine- i must say.All of us think that we have bigger issues everywhere, but when peeped into another person's live for a while, we thank our stars.I say this with all my heart Mithila! Initial days into In- Laws family made me think, im the most unlucky person, but trust me today you ask me, i will say i'm blessed to the core.God had been so kind to me. You mother did create a spark in me as well now.If a women without any credits/debits can make things listen her way, why not we? Totally agree with you that Time does not stay, it moves on.. on..I for the absolute courage she displayed even in her death bed.You moved me to tears and left me sobbing - again for good.We realise the words and teachings of amma or any person only when they are gone...Now i wanna meet my amma and cling on to her to say "I Love you mom" ...Great post Mithila!! Going to meet her tomm..BTW...
