such a sweet romance story....heartening to know that rasa and sevathiya got married in the U.S....your lines about tanjore made me long for my native where i was brought up..you must have heard of mayavaram...
i was smiling while reading the whole thread...your kadhai(story) and sathya ma'am kavithai(poem) are made for each other like rasa and sevathiya....we are glad to see the marriage of these two....thank you so much for giving us this wedding feast....

Oh,yes!I had been to Mayavaram when we visited many temples in Kumbakonam and Tanjore we stayed at Mayavaram.Inspite of the world running so fast and embracing modernity with no holds barred,these places have retained their old world charm.Sathya is a great poet,a charming friend to all of us and a person who makes you smile with joy sending those inimitable poems.

glad to know that you have been to my place..yes some of the old world charm is still retained there...those centuries old temples with beautiful tanks give such peace of mind, i really miss them...
about the sevathiya story...I hope that no grain right activist(?!) will sue you for disclosing a private love story of two grain individuals in public and earn so many accolades...

Thank you for the kind words.On one night last week,I just did not get sleep.What to do?An idea occurred to me ,why not write a love storyabnout in animate objects,so with rice and dhall as the main leads I began to write.Just like that I started typing but as I continued I became so involved with the story that I wanted to write some more.But my eyes began to burn,irritating sensation,I could not continue and as is my habit,I had to post it immediately.Iam happy you liked the story.

Each day in our house, Rasa and Sevathiya are married and presented before God and only after HIS Blessings, they take the form of Paruppu sadam, or paruppu thogaiyal, sambhar, rasam and kootu and start their journey towards our stomach..
No problem with them..they are happy..
