Musings – Beef,cyclones,sexy legs,

Today’s papers 10^th May 08 tells us about British Airways decision not to serve Beef on its economy class from now on, but will do so on its Business and first class.This has come in for criticism, some saying that it is due to the rising prices of Beef, and they are cutting costs.Now they plan to serve chicken and Fish pies, both fine with my palate.




I just hope a Mad Cow dosnt hop on to the butcher’s table.Feel sorry for the First Class passengers.I have traveled so many times on BA , but they never told me they serve Beef.I am curious to eat Beef,Hindu anger nothwithstanding, but never got the chance.




I got the chance on Singapore Airlines when I was going from Singapore to Jakarta last year with wife.The airhostess asked me Sir Chicken or Beef.My ears perked up and I said Beef.As I ate,wife scolded me, and we had a big fight on the flight, and she went and stood in the bathroom puking, while I munched away sl.owly.I told her what if a stranger were to eat Beef next to u, then what ? Learn to be less sensitive in life.But well she is she, and me is me.But the taste was so so , nothing great to talk about.




Bhajji and Sreesanth – Bhajji is now going to be tried by the Bcci.Seems Bhajji told the newspapers, I have lost a couple of crores, is that not enough, what more do u guys want.





Well now we know the cost of a slap is 3 crores.Inflation is sure high these days.A few years back a fellow was fined 10,000 bucks for slapping someone in a road road case.And now a slap costs 3 crores.Wow.Thats inflation Zimabwe style, where the rate of inflation is 1,65,000 %, where as our poor FM is crying that we are at 7%.It seems Zimbabwe has printed a note of $ 2.50 million of their currency.




And we still have the hightest currency note of a 1000 bucks.We too need to have notes of 1 lakh, 10 lakh and a crore too,we are living in the sixties really, when we had a note of 10,000, which was later cancelled by the Indra Govt in the late 70’s.




Women And Cyclones – HT page 1 – 10^th May 08




Nargis , the Mynamar Cyclone, the name was given by Mynamar itself.There are 7 countries in a group, including India and Mynamar, who decide the name of the cyclone.The next one will be named Abe, as suggested by Sri Lanka.




I wonder why are Cyclones named after women.Nargis,Katrina,are such cute names, making u want to fall in love with them.But look at the destruction that follows in their footsteps.Even this Abe, the new cyclone to come, is it not the shortform of Babe.HAHA.




Vengence they name is a woman,with the power of a cyclone.Just imagine if the cyclone was named KAMALJI ,the cyclone would be so docile, just kiss the cheerleaders, lift up their short skirts, and go away happily, before u can say Hi.




Did some one say this “ Marriages are made in Heaven, so are Lightning and Thunder “
Lets add Cyclones to that.And the sweeter the name, the fiercer it is.

Hell hath no fury like a female cyclone??? haha The most docile cyclones are the ones with male names kya? You are too much yaar !
Dont take ure wife to China. They eat practically everything there ! Dogs, cats, snakes, tortoise and god knows wat. She will puke for the whole trip !

hmmm.. I am on your side when you told your wife..what if someone else was eating? Most people esp. women are definetly more tolerant of others doing some action.. not sure how that works:)!
I have a feeling cyclones are not named after any gender in specific.. just random choice alphabetically..But if what you saw were true...
In all your intelligent writings I did see something creep in.. that is you calling yourself "DOCILE"" kya baath hai?? Completely disagree with you there.... no wonder no cyclone is named after YOU!.. I think your wife will agree on this one with me

I\ one must mind ones own business at times.Well.And the 7 countries have decided, that they will have the first choice ov er the names.chitra, does it matter what name u give to a cyclone, will that have any effect on the destruction? Silly things really.

Really i am docile, Chitra, i would only do that to the cheerleaders, while Nargis the cyclone see what it did, uprooted everything.I only gently kiss.HAHA.

Do you know why male and female names are given to the cyclones. I never knew that before just a few years back there was a cyclone in Australia which came one after the other and the 1st one was named as female and the other one was named as male when asked how do they come to know which is male and female it was told that the cyclone that comes furiously and does the maxium destruction is know as female and was given a female name and the other one which had come after a few days was a quite with less destruction one so it was named after a male name...........this sounded really funny...........hahaha

yes the other destination no no for harsha is vietnam they eat only cockroaches and insects of all kind well fried...u can make the destination there like the traveller antony bourden and u can infact write more about these things...

never knew about the beef part, now they have banned beef in islam they say so what will the flights do...lamb is too costly i hear..
may be they should serve your favorite that has no border it swims the world over....sunkan

I too wondered how does beef relate to legs...Usually, I don't mind people eating non-veg. But, it is disgusting indeed to watch some stuffs. Poor Harshaji....So bad for Bhajji...too much...I have thought so many times the way people name cyclones. They don't match...
